"I recently stayed at this hotel located inside the park, and while the location was excellent for convenience, my overall stay was disappointing. The room itself was dated and in need of renovation, particularly the shower which felt old and outdated. This lack of modern amenities impacted the comfort and quality of the stay. Furthermore, the breakfast offered at the hotel was both expensive and subpar. The quality of the food was below expectations, and the dining experience felt chaotic and unorganized. The breakfast service left much to be desired, with a lack of attention to detail and a feeling of being rushed through a meal. It was a stark contrast to the serene surroundings of the park location. In summary, while the hotel's location is a standout feature, the outdated room, unappealing shower, and poor breakfast experience overshadowed the positives. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the accommodation quality and dining offerings.""

"Good location, right next to bus lines. We had a recently renovated room, but the beds and pillows were less quality than I had hoped. There is no access at all for a microwave (not even on the grounds). This puts a damper on eating much other than the restaurants outside town or having your own meals. The room was cleaned well. The food options nearby are not amazing, unless you enjoy cafeteria style food."

"We had a cozy decent sized room. The staff at the desk was nice and the food court had multiple options. The lodge was near the shuttle station so getting around in the park was pretty easy. One minor point is the lack of microwave oven in the rooms and even in the common area."

"Very clean rooms with a good proximity to the Rim trail, shuttle and other lodges. The buildings are not close enough to the Canyon to be able to see anything but for the very reasonable price this is a very good deal overall. One of the great positives was that the area is very quiet and comfortable. The buildings were built between 1970s and the early eighties so a bit dated but honestly it was a great relief to be here after a week in Las Vegas. I would definitely come back in the future and highly recommend this lodging to anyone."

"Great location at the Grand Canyon, but don’t expect perfection. We enjoyed the stay overall and took the train in from the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. They provided the transfer of our luggage to the room and it was convenient. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Rooms are in a building ‘pod’ and walking to them is easy. Parking is available as well if you choose to drive. The food is overpriced honestly, for what you’re getting at the lodge, but take the shuttle and go to some other restaurants and you’ll really enjoy better food and selections. The pizza pub on site though was notably better in food and service. Service was standard at the front desk, but they’re not going to win a personality contest. Not rude, but seemed apathetic towards the job. We went when it was buried in snow, so I’m not sure if this is ops-normal for them, but the clearing of the parking spaces and sidewalks could use some work. Operations management needs to evaluate that situation. Overall not bad, I’d still stay here again."
