"Unfortunately our experience was very different from the other reviews. We found the communication process and quality to not be what we expected for the cost. We selected gold hardware - they tried to deliver and install silver. We selected a different ceiling trim design but we’re told their notes said something else. Our mudroom bench was made from a cheap wood veneer that took the staining super blotchy. We had over 20 paint spots that needed to be touched up by me, a rough cut hole in our base trim for ducting even though we were told at quoting “we handle that” and overall a lack of finished look. When we shared our frustrations over the lack of communication and finished product expectation we were met with being threatened to send our final 10% bill to collections. I would not recommend."

"I have nothing but good things to say about MJ design custom cabinets and Jared in general. A few years ago we had him design our kitchen and walk in butlers pantry in our house. He was so easy to work with and patient and helped answer all my questions when I had no idea what i was doing. He was so timely and great to work with. I have referred him to several friends and they have all been happy too. This last year we decided to redo our bathrooms and first person we reached out to was Jared because we knew we wanted to use him again. Once again I am very happy with the results. Jared makes you feel like a friend not just another client. MJ custom design is not only reasonably priced, the quality is good and the staff is awesome. I can’t recommend them enough."

"After countless headaches working with builders and subcontractors working with Jared and MJ Design was a dream! After describing what I wanted and showing some inspiration pictures Jared’s team sent me different designs customizing my ideas to exactly what I wanted. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and always showed up when they said they were going to. Jared even came back to do some touch up work on some of the built ins that got messed up when we got some lights installed. It’s been a year since we got got these initially installed and we still love everything Jared and his team did so much! We can’t wait to use them again with another upcoming project we have in mind."

"Had a general contractor and an architect come out and think up ideas for our kitchen remodel. 1950’s home with only 200 square feet and chimney through the middle of it. We hit a road block. We called MJ Design after a friend referral, and Jared personally come out. Jared was a master-mind! We went from 12 square feet of countertop space to 48! He presented three different options with images and drafts. We were blown away! After connecting with a General who could do the plan we wanted—We put it into motion. In the final steps of our kitchen remodel the cabinets were installed. We are in absolute love! The kitchen was -almost- perfect! Ha! We had the same panel replaced 3 times before it was made right. Jared came out and did touch up for us and he wouldn’t rest until the cabinetry was right and we were satisfied. I applaud his work ethic and the ethic of his company and the ability to stick it through for the customer. It’s especially hard to get this from a company these days! We are in love with our kitchen and highly recommend this company! He took care of us, and not once was I worried."
