"We love Mudpies! My child has been in their care for over a year from infancy and they have been just an absolute delight. Their handbook and policies are extremely thorough and all of the teachers and office staff are informative and feel like family."
"I have had nothing but an incredible experience with Mudpies and Lullabies! My son was located at a different daycare previously and it is night and day difference. Even though my son is only 6 months old, you can tell he is geniuenly happy (much different from the previous care he was receiving). I also have peice of mind with all of the updates and cute photos I receive throughout the day. You can tell that his care givers truly care and love him. I would not want him anywhere else. I strongly urge you to consider Mudpies and Lullabies for your baby's care needs. :)"
"The reviews are super confusing, it seems like a lot of them are wrong location (since there are 3) or bitterness from not being accepted in since there is waitlists for some classes! This might be lengthy but it’s worth a read if you’re trying to find a school for your baby! I work from home & always have since my daughter was born. I noticed her desire for wanting to play with children her age when she turned 3. She would always ask to go to school but my Husband and I were in no way ready for her to go to anything where we weren’t there watching her. After moving to Grayson County in September of 2022, I realized she needed to be in a children’s environment due to no longer being close to her cousins. I did intensive research looking for a good enough school. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about reviews and trying to find the perfect school. I came across Mudpies and Lullabies, but unfortunately there was a waitlist for her age group. I was so bummed as this school seemed PERFECT for my daughter. I called about 3 weeks later and boom there was the opening as one kiddo left the school for summer. My daughter was so excited BUT so nervous as again, she had never been away from family for longer than 10 minutes. We went to tour the school and meet her teacher and my daughter was in a horrible mood that day and cried screaming “I do not want to go to school”. That amped my nerves even more thinking how horrible this was going to go, as she started the very next day. I took her to her first day & she was sooo nervous and very timid walking in. Mrs. Brooke grabbed her by the hand (after her hiding behind me for 15 mins) and told her they were just about to go outside and play on the playground if she wanted to come. I snuck away & watched her from the gate as this school has an open door policy and parents are able to pop in and out WHENEVER. I watched the cameras like a hawk (another plus!) all day long and saw her completely enjoying herself and playing with friends. When I went to go pick her up she did not want to leave, there were lots of tears as she said she had so much fun and loved her friends & teacher. Fast forward to starting a new year with a new teacher (same first day jitters from both of us) and my daughter cried on the first day because she wanted to stay the night at school lol. If you do research on THIS location you will see the teachers care for their students and love their jobs. I always look through the glass for each class and rarely do I see students not be watched or crying. I’m so blessed to have found this school and I’m so thankful this was the experience my daughter received!"
"I liked the fact that this place had live camera access for parents & the security they had for entrance. when my 3 month old started here on the first day she was not fed appropriately and on the time i had written down. more than half of the time she would come home starving. i brought this up to the directors attention and it was taken care of apparently. a month later my daughter would come home with lots of scratches on her neck and face that were a little bit bigger than her tiny finger nails. so i thought it was strange that no one brought it up to my attention. a while before we decided to take her out of this daycare one of the front ladies told me i needed to sign an incident report. my daughter was scratched by another kid. 8 DAYS AGO. why wasn’t i told about this incident when she was picked up or the next day? why wait EIGHT DAYS?? What if it was something bigger than this? would i have not been told until i brought it up. from the amount of hours i’ve watched this live camera from my office at work it doesn’t seem like anyone tries to sanitize this place during the day. no wonder every week we got an email about RSV spreading around. don’t even think about replying on the app to tell you how much they have been fed, diaper changed or nap time. more than half of the time it’s inaccurate timing that was done an hour ago. would not be back to this place."
"I've been a mother for 10 years, this being my first daycare experience with my youngest child and it has been a horrible experience. She started here on May 22,2023 and I have been unhappy since day ONE. They do not have structure, no learning activities, etc. I have never seen not one person in this school pick up a book to read to a child or even sing their ABC's. The camera is great.. until you become obsessive because you're afraid something may happen to your child because the teachers stand around with their hands on their hips while the insane amount of children in 1 class run wild all day long! They advertise a learning curriculum when you tour the facility, but there is no curriculum or structure. It is more like an assembly line full of kids. Not to mention, the first week of going to this center my child contracted e-coli and when mentioned it to the office staff I received a grin and a sarcastic "okay". It was not taken serious at all and this is why my child has been sick consistently since going here!!"
