Great Clips

"I took my 2 kids with me last week for a haircut and the girl who cut my hair was amazing she had blonde hair (very chatty but it was a wonderful cut so I didn't mind) but I don't remember her name. The other 2 girls that cut my kids hair messed up so bad they seemed like they didn't know what they were doing but they were older than me I think which makes me feel weird that they couldn't do simple children's cuts. I will be walking right out of there the next time if they are working or I can't request someone else l."

"Botched haircut storytime: I went in to get a trim and some layers. The woman who cut my hair gave me the ugliest stepped layers and one area was cut way too short that I had a gap in my hair. It looked like someone who has never cut hair before had tried to cut mine. Another man next to me was getting his haircut while I was getting mine cut (he is important a little later). I went home not knowing she botched my haircut. After it dries, I straightened it and it looked absolutely awful. The layers were all over the place, the step in layers was a huge height difference and only a very thin layer of the longer layer remained. I was in tears. She had already cut off more than I wanted. I had asked for only a half inch off and she took two. It was still a decent length and I thought that it would be fine as long as it looked good. When I got home and straightened it, it did NOT look good. I went to the great clips on University Pkwy and Freedom Blvd and the nice stylist there graciously fixed my hair and made it look good. It had to be another couple inches shorter due to the extremely high up layers the last lady gave me. As she was cutting my hair, the guy from the last great clips showed up for a redo as well!! The other stylist in there (there were only two in the one that botched both our haircuts) had botched his haircut too! It was extremely unevenly cut and she had taken too much off of his as well! Another stylist in the Univ Pkwy Great Clips helped fix his haircut too. This great clips gave me hell and I will NEVER come back. I doubt that other man will either. Those stylists cut our hair as if they had never ever touched hair in their lives. I don't understand how someone who has to be licensed and take a test to cut hair was able to do what they had done to our hair."

"It’s an easy check in and quick cut. The workers know what to do. But recently the girl cutting my husbands hair made us both uneasy. She looked unsure with what she was doing. Cut my husband more than once. Kept looking over at me giving me strange glances. And yes you have to get close to see and cut hair but she rubbed her breasts on him multiple times. Was she checking if I wouldn’t see? Looking for a ring to see if she could hit on him? We usually have good service but this girl needs some help."

"I went in and asked for them to cut about an inch off and it wasn’t as much as I thought so I asked for another 1/2 inch off. The hair stylist cut a little too much which would have been okay except for the fact the after she was done she said “I also added in some layers for you”- which I did NOT want at all. How hard it is to ask, “do you want me to layer your hair?” But to just assume its okay to change how someone’s hair will lay is UNACCEPTABLE! I will not be returning to this Great Clips or any Great Clips"

"This place is great! The manager cut my hair and she was super nice and funny. She died my hair very well and she improved my typical haircut. She explained to me what she did to improve it and why. It was very helpful to know. Good quality service"
