"Sunflower nail and salon was best salon i have been too. I have been to many nail salons and I have always walked out disappointed but sunflower nail and salon actually was amazing the staff there talked to you when you arrived and was fun talking with and the gave me what I requested and better.I will be coming again."
"I went in on Monday to get a pedicure and a full set. I felt like my pedicure was rushed and they had someone else come paint my toenails. My toe nails weren’t covered all the way with the polish that I selected. When I got my set of nails one person started and then had someone else finish them. Some of the nails are crooked, some nails are missing acrylic on the edges of the nails and when I asked for it to be fixed the lady told me that there wasn’t anything wrong. Needless to say it’s not even been 48 hours and my nails are already starting to lift. I’m going on vacation hence the reason for getting my nails done so I’m pretty upset with how my nails look."
"I was given a gift certificate for the Sunflower Nail Salon for my birthday. My dear friend and I went to get pedicures. I was first interrogated from the gal that was doing my pedicure about if I had been there before, how long ago it was, etc. I said yes, I had been there before and she said it’s been a few years ago and I said yes. She said now isn’t it good to be honest. I said absolutely, but I am honest and I go to many different salons in the area to get pedicures. Then the other gal kept staring at my friend’s fingernails and asking her many questions about where she gets them done, how long does it take, how much, etc. I got a basic pedicure with a flower and it costed me $40. This was only a basic pedicure with regular nail polish. When we were done, we waited for about 10 minutes for our toes to dry and we left. Hours later, I looked down at my toes and noticed that they were badly smudged and when I touched them they were still wet. I am extremely disappointed about this, about how my friend and I were drilled and how I had to go find another salon that cost me more money to remove the polish and repaint. I remember now why I didn’t keep going back there because it was just bad and the last time they made my 2 male friends get clear gel polish on their toes. Said it was better. I will never be back.., I did not even want to go deal with them again to get them to repaint my toes!"
"I called to make an appointment and asked how much it would be for a full acrylic set with color and design on 2 nails. The man told me $35 plus $5 for design on 2 nails. When I walked in, the older woman and man were so rude. I couldn’t tell if it was because my child was black but it was like they didn’t even wanna take us. They were extremely nice to all of the white women and were talking and laughing with them but never said a word to us!! I asked if there was a problem and he said “oh no! Please sit” complete change in tone but body language and tone with each other was the same. Anyway, he was quiet the entire time and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, it’s a good thing my child feels comfortable in uncomfortable spaces. He ended up charging us $65 and claimed it was because of the length. The design wasn’t amazing and the customer service DEFINITELY was awful. Not going back and don’t recommend!!"
"They're pedicures are amazing! But manicures and full sets are a different story. We called in ahead of time and got there 30 minutes later like they said and waited a whole hour before being helped by their daughter. She asked for colours and then we waited another 15-20 minutes. When my turn for nail shape came around the man was really rough. I told him coffin shape, he had glued on the nail and trimmed them, but once he started filling he told me it was too short to do coffin so he did almond shaped. He filed my skin a couple times and it hurt so bad. Finally, when that was over he handed me off to the lady and she painted my nails. I had a more complex design in mind, but seeing how chaotic things were I went with something very simple. I think they look alright. Once they were done, she put really stong smelling lotion that gave me a headache and made the areas on my fingers that were filed, burn. They also wanted cash, not card for payment so my sister had to walk to the bank to get the money. I was confused because I didn't see any signs anywhere that said anything about cash. Really disappointed because when I come for their pedicures, its a calming and pleasant experience."
