Great Clips

"I arrived for a hair cut this morning. I was waiting for Mariah. I was first on the list when she called another persons name. I thought she was taking him back but she corrected the situation. Then she started giving me dirty looks. She had my attention because I was next in line so obviously I was looking her direction waiting for her to call my name. She continues to give me nasty side eye looks. I decided that I was now not comfortable with her cutting my hair so when she did decide to call my name, I told her that I’d decided to wait for another employee. She because irritated and called the next man. I told her I didn’t appreciate her attitude and dirty looks. She said she, “didn’t like that I was staring at her.” Well, sweetheart, don’t flatter yourself. I was only waiting for my name to be called so I could have my hair cut. Then, another man steps up to me and starts to verbally chastise me all while every employee just stands there watching him. I, justifiably so, get irritated, and tell him this situation didn’t concern him as I didn’t do anything wrong, and he could take himself elsewhere if he didn’t like it. The conversation became heated. Profanity was shared. Cops were called and I get trespassed because Mariah thinks I was “staring” at her. I asked for the GM’s name and number, I asked for the franchise owners info. The employees refused. I’ve gone to this location since it’s opening date and had never been treated so unprofessionally. Mariah has constantly had a negative attitude towards customers and other employees, and I’ve blown it off. Now her true colors have come forward. Regardless of the “trespass” notice being issued I will never, and my family will never frequent this location ever again. I will be notifying the franchise owner somehow of the unprofessional conduct of not only the stylists on duty today but the general manager and how she handles hostile situations when it comes to her employees."

"I went far too long in between haircuts this last time. As a result, I was looking like the Shaggy dog from those old Disney movies. I went into Great Clips and they had me fixed up in no time at all. The even taught me how to style my hair correctly (so I didn't have to have my mommy come over every morning to comb my hair) for the first time in my 45 years of existence. Great Clips hooked me up with knowledge and all kyne a zduff! I will be back!"

"I came here because haircuts are getting very expensive. It was about $10 cheaper than most places I've found but the old saying "You get what you pay for" rings so true here. This was my 2nd time at this location. First time I had a very similar experience, but I always like to give 2-3 chances to most places I go to. First off, they almost force you into putting in your address and phone number. I don't need more junk and I don't care if my haircut is in your system, I don't always get the same cut. I told the lady I didn't want to give that information and she insisted. I walked in on my 2nd visit and the place was empty. The two employees were in the back talking but almost immediately came out to greet me. However, when she sat me in her chair, I had to wait for her to clean her station and tools before she could get started. I understand if that's the case if you're busy, but they were in the back chatting. The first time I came here, I had to have my wife fix some of the mistakes they made (patches were missed, especially around the ears and neck line). So the second time (I got the same lady) I let her know especially around those areas to please get them clean. I got home and checked again, and once again had to fix it myself. She seemed like she was in a rush to get me out the door and didn't really care if she did a good job or not. I'm giving 2 stars for the price (although its still more expensive than I feel it should be) and because the first time in, I brought my son and the other lady was super kind to him and made him feel more comfortable (although I had to fix his hair as well). I wish I would've gotten their names but I again, they rushed me out the door once she felt like my hair was good enough."

"Poor customer service. I called them a good 20 times today at 430pm to 5pm and not 1 person answered the phone. So I went into the company and there was no line and only one customer was getting a haircut. 2 employees just standing around. I'm just upset that I had to drive all the way there just to ask a question something I could have asked over the phone if they would have answered the phone one time out of 20 times that I called within 30 minutes."

"I think she did a good job of my hair. At first yeah I wasn’t too happy but we had a bad morning, but definitely did one of the better haircuts I’ve had."
