Sego Lily Spa

"I dislike writing bad reviews. Note that we have never gotten a bad massage or a bad service from Sego Lily Spa. However, we will not go back and historically, we have frequented the spa. Here's the story: We had booked a 90 minutes couples massage at the end of October for February 10th. Only two days prior to the February appointment, we were notified that the appointment had been changed to 60 minutes from 90. We have never gotten a 60 minute massage from Sego Lily, only 90. We also had purchased a gift card on Black Friday to pay for the 90 minute massage. This was another frustration. When we booked our February appointment in October, we were told a Black Friday discount would be applied and that we should buy a gift certificate on that November day. We did buy the gift certificate even though there was no Black Friday discount on gift certificates as we had been told by a front-desk employee. Today we spoke with the manager who said that our options were to keep the 60 minute appointment, cancel the appointment or reschedule a 90 minute massage for March 29th. Our preference was to cancel all appointments (my wife had additional procedures scheduled) and get a refund on our gift card. Sego Lily's manager said there are no refunds on gift cards. When we described our level of frustration and mentioned that we may not return, the manager said, "that's okay.""

"Unfortunately the room we were in was very noisy. There was a whining, squealing, squeaking noise in the ceiling and the wall/room next to us had running water/noisey pipes the whole massage. Employees were great, massages were good, it was clean, but the noises almost ruined the massage experience."
