"Though the staff is kind, they did not have me check the address of a second person on a joint account and now I am finding myself calling Customer Service to get that corrected. Due to this issue, the debit card never made it to its destination. Please, basic steps are having the customer check all the information for both people involved in the joint account. Thanks!"
"It would be nice if Stephanie wasn’t so flirty with my husband. What kind of bank teller writes hearts on receipts and says things like “hey there, stranger” directly to my husband and way too sweetly because she didn’t see me standing at the counter. Talk about making things awkward in front of our kids. P.S. You’d see my husband more if you had better hours."
"I usually love this specific bank, but I'm not happy with some new workers. My latest experience: My boss was going to let me be slightly late to work to cash a check. I was about 20 minutes away. I had called to check if someone was there that was helping me with a specific problem that only he can fix. I was asked if it was alright to be placed on a "quick" hold. After being on hold for 17 minutes, I hung up and called again and once again got asked if I would be okay with being put on a quick hold. Yes, I understand that it may have been disrespectful to say no, but if I recieved an answer I could just barely make it to work on time, even though I was only about 5-7 minutes out, I would rather not be late to work. He said, "Excuse me!" I told him I was already on a "quick" hold for over 15 minutes, and my question would only take 10 seconds. He argued, saying well I have customers, so I'm putting you on hold anyway! I ended up late to work."
"Worst bank ever. I use credit unions and opened up an additional checking and savings account here during a promotion since our mortgage is through here (it was bought out by them). We wanted to have an account just set up for our house funds and have direct deposit biweekly made into the account. But... never got our promotion gift. We had direct deposit of 1000 biweekly set up which met the listed requirements and within the deadline but yet they said they wanted to see more than 1 deposit within the deadline and wouldn't honor it even though it didn't state it as a requirement. Then they keep charging a 6.95 account maintenance fee that I have had to call twice now to get removed. You can have free checking if you have 1000 or more in direct deposit within a month and we well exceed that. I just keep getting the run around. You can't do same day internal transfers from one us bank checking to another. They promise their zelle will do it but it doesn't most the time. So I am just closing my account. Use Mountain America Credit Union or America First Credit Union. They are great. US Bank is not. The staff here is kind though. That's the only positive"
"I had a problem with my account. When i went in the branch manager was very condescending and demeaning. When i finally had enough of it after addressing his demeanor multiple times i told him off. Now, about two weeks later, i get a letter in the mail stating that he has made the executive decision to close my account. Umm what? I have only been into this branch a small handful of times, but never had a positive experience. Upon calling the 1-800 number they felt the need to apologize profusely for the actions of this jerk. I would not recommend this place to anyone with more than a second grade education."
