"I was given a set of furniture as a gift for my fist son in May of 2018. Two weeks ago one side of one of the dresser drawers fell and would scrape against the frame of the chest. I took the drawer off to investigate and saw that the mount that it was screwed into came apart (it looks like it is several layers of wood glued together). I emailed and called and left a message with Westwood Design (Westwood Baby) and waited for a response. I did not ask for them to replace or repair the furniture as it would probably be more inconvenient than just repairing it myself, but I did want to know if they had any suggestions or a procedure in order to ensure the repair did not cause any other issues. I also figured a company who values their reputation and the quality of their work would want to know about any problems their products have. Apparently they do not fall into that criteria. After waiting a week for a response I gave up and repaired it myself. While repairing the drawer mount I decided to inspect the rest of them hopefully to ensure that I don't have further issues. But alas, I found the mount opposite had a separate issue, the wood was split across the entire length of the piece right where the drawer track was fastened. I have no doubt that given enough time that would fail as well. This shows me two things, that they have both poor design and poor quality control. The furniture may look and feel sturdy, but it is only skin deep. Where it matters, these pieces will not hold up long term. I can't let my son sleep in the crib they built for fear of his safety. I have already replaced it with a better built family heirloom. I still have not heard back from the company."
