"They were here 20 minutes, said they couldn't snake it and basically I was screwed. Then they said "that will be $180". Mullen was out the day before and did the same thing, their service charge was $130 and they spent a good hour working it and suggested a couple of solutions. I would recommend you calling another plumber than Ray's Sewer Service unless money and the problem being solved is not an issue."
"The guys were on time and completed the job quickly. Both were informative about conditions I called about. Will call Ray's next time I have a problem."
"I️ had a sewer blockage in my home. I️ had two previous plumbers attempt to fix my problem (one of them being the "prominent" Roto-Rooter). After $600 to Roto-Rooter and $1k to another company, my problem was unsolved. After 5 days without necessities in home, I️ called Ray's and set an appointment. Mario, the technician, was punctual, polite, and knowledgable. Through the process he explained what he was doing and where the other companies went wrong. Within 15 minutes and it cost less than $200. 100% Ray's will be my go to for all my plumbing needs."
"They sent a drunk to work on our church property! He argued with me that he couldn’t fix our sewer because the gate to the church was locked. There is no locked gate at our church! I was standing out front while he kept driving by! I finally stood in the street. The lady on the phone was very defensive simply because I asked her to explain the bill that was sent to us. They charged us for 60 feet and only used 35 feet of line. That’s fine if they feel comfortable in stealing from a church they will never get this chance with us again! We were going to use them to fix the problem. They called and said they didn’t want to do the repair! Gave us a person that they said would do it. WE WAITED TWO DAYS FOR HIM! HE NEVER SHOWED UP! Even after saying he would! MAYBE HE WAS HANGING OUT WITH THE DRUNK THAT WAS RIDING UP AND DOWN THE STREET! IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE COMMUNITY THAT YOUR BUSINESS IS IN SUPPORTING YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR YEARS OF OPERATION YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE SURVIVED THIS LONG! WE DESERVE BETTER"
"I wanted to use this business to assist a family that is going without plumbing because they need their Septic Tank serviced. I called Irwin's Septic Tank Cleaning, Plumbing and Repair after finding them online. I am not sure how previous customers got treated with respect and "like family" but the woman I spoke with was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful to me. I was asked if I would be meeting them at the property and I responded no but I would be the one paying. She told me that they needed my credit card on file and they would charge a minimum of $175. I told her the $175 was fine but if more work needed to be done could I be notified before my card was just charged with an unknown amount. I was told no to that request. I then told her I needed to put her on hold to speak with someone about this before I gave her my credit card and I proceeded to mute myself and to have the necessary conversation needed before a final decision was made. While I was muted, the woman was pretty vocal stating, "Yes this is how I talk to them" and when she finally said, "If she leaves me on hold any longer, she's gonna have to call me back. I have to get these trucks out." I paused my conversation and unmuted to let her know that it was okay for me to call her back if she had other calls to make. She said, "That's fine!" and proceeded to hang up on me. Now, why would I trust this company with my credit card and trust that they are ethical when I am treated like that. No thanks! Customer service goes a long way and when you are perfectly fine with talking to people rudely, why would someone trust you to help them, or in my case, service a family so they have properly running water. No thank you."
