"This past weekend was one of the best i’ve ever had skiing, not because of the great snow and awesome conditions but because the Wasatch Adaptive Sports program. I also would like to thank their instructors Gillian and Daniel for being understanding, patient and caring for my little brother through his lesson, he had fun while still learning how to ski, thank you for being awesome and helping people the way you do and creating an unforgivable weekend for my family. "Me and a few of my teammates from The National Ability Center came to Snowbird today to ski some steep pow runs. Jason and Jerod from Wasatch Adaptive Sports didn't disappoint. "If you are considering joining Wasatch Adaptive for yourself or a loved one, I would highly, highly recommend this group. They are working with my 10 year old son who has multiple physical disabilities. I wish I would have started working with them much earlier in his life. I have zero doubt or hesitation that they will support him in every aspect required to make sure he can participate in any of their programs. We have taken advantage of the skiing, bowling and biking and never once have I worried for his safety. They not only work with him, but our entire family so that we can enjoy each activity with our loved one. The therapists and volunteers are amazing people who genuinely care about my son. Their willingness to spend time getting to know him and create opportunities where he can participate in the same experiences as his peers is invaluable. I have seen his self esteem grow as well as his physical abilities and endurance. These experiences have given him confidence that he didn't have before - and for that I am eternally grateful."
