"Wear spikes if you’re going hiking right now. Lots of skiers and snowshoers on the trail so it’s packed down good enough for hikers but be sure to bring traction. Gorgeous gorgeous winter wonderland this time of year!!"

"Great, easy hike just about a mile long. Great views, I recommend going earlier (6-7am) to avoid a lot of people. Also I highly recommend bringing water-rated shoes or a change of socks so you can actually see the fall and climb up the rocks to the cave it falls into."

"This trail is a completely different experience in the winter! The final climb to the waterfall is difficult and pretty intense, but it's well worth the hike. I really enjoyed this!"

"Nice little trail. Driving up to the summer trailhead cuts off about a mile each way. It's a beautiful area but very busy. I felt a little like it was more of a road through nature than a trail in nature. The last few hundred feet of the trail is basically hiking through the river but maybe that was just because the water was so high when we went. Was a nice place to go but I prefer trails with less people and a little more remote. It is basically a 6 foot wide gravel road. In order to be in the woods you have to go off the trail... Was worth the drive but next time will probably go to another place less crowded."

"Super cool spot. Bring some shoes you can get wet and maybe a spare. Not too difficult getting up to the Donut Hole. Very interesting how it formed itself. Beautiful trails throughout the area. I highly recommend exploring this trail and the falls within. I saw people fishing too."
