"Go go go there . That’s all I have to say . A must do trail if you are visiting Zion National park. You can rent water boots , backpack etc required for this hike from Zion Outfitters otherwise bring your own water shoes and waterproof small carryon . Highly recommend to go all the way in till you hit the tributary that splits the narrows in two ways . Take the right hand side smaller tributary which is the highlight of the trail . Start early as it gets really crowded . Plus you can cover more . Spend at least 4-5 hours at narrows would stop surprising you ."
"We were not able to hike into the narrows because the water level was too high. We walked along the river trail and has a great time. The water was very refreshing. We saw a ringtail, deer, and ducks. There were so many places for pictures, wading into the water, relaxing on a beach, or playing. Beautiful little rapids in the water. We were upset we could not go into the narrows but we’re so thankful we could walk the river trail and had a great time. We walked this trail after hiking angel’s landing that morning. The flat trail and river made for a relaxing and refreshing cool down after a strenuous hike."
"It was a wonderful hike! I'm so happy to have completed it. It's a different challenge because you are fighting the water current most of the time. Which wears on the hips and knees a little differently. But look at the scenery. It was delightful! A real wonder to experience. Especially, as the sun came up over the red rocks and started to really enhance the colors as they came through the canyon. Just beautiful!"
"This was the best hikes I've been on so far with spectacular views. My wife, 10yr old and 14yr old and myself hiked this 10 mile trail through waist deep water at times. The entire hike is over large and small rocks with no flat ground. Piece of advice; if you go, go early. The crowds will be far less and the sun will not be beating down on you. I also advice to rent the water shoes, socks and hiking sticks from the outfitter. They were lifesavers!"
"The Wellsville Range looks spectacular when seen from a distance. They seem so very steep and rugged. When hiking up them, however, you quickly realize that you underestimated them. This is a tough hike. It's worth it. The vegetation changes quite a bit, very rapidly, as the trail steadily and rapidly increases in elevation. The views from the top are awesome. Make sure to bring enough water and to stay hydrated (you'll sweat, even in chilly weather). Also, be aware that there are a couple times the trail splits - these side trails can be lengthy . If you want to take the quickest path, try to aim for a the is the path that takes a more northerly direction."
