"Short and steep hike up a Jeep road with beautiful views at the top. I parked at the edge of the main road, near the billboard. First 1/3 mile fairly flat on a dusty Jeep road, then it gets steeper and the road a little rocky. You gain about 375 ft elevation in next 1/2 mile, to reach aviation arrow at top and beautiful views of Quail Creek reservoir. 3/4 mile to aviation arrow, for an out and back hike of 1.5 miles. It took me 25 mins to top (hiking carrying toddler in ergo baby) plus 20 mins down, for total of 45 mins. We saw two small planes go over the top while we were hiking. Worth it for views at top, but the hike itself wasn't too exciting as on Jeep road. Also try Shinobe Kibe hike in Washington, UT for another aviation arrow hike."

"The arrow is in pretty good shape considering its age. The view over Quail Creek Reservoir is great. The road leading up to the arrow is in pretty bad shape but it's not too far to walk up. You can probably get up the road in a 4x4 with good ground clearance, but pick your path carefully."
