"Unfortunately, the administrative staff at the office is such a mess and need to get their act together...they are 100% the reason for this review. My husband went in for a jaw surgery consultation 6 months ago. We have never received a phone call from them to follow up with insurance approval, schedule an appointment, etc. WE have had to be the ones to follow up with them and we get the run around each time we call, or promises that they will call back with no attempts on their part. They continually blamed our insurance for the delays, saying that the pre-authorization for the surgery has been sitting with our insurance all these months and that they would check with the insurance on status update and get back to us. We had repeatedly told them that we have never seen any pre-authorizations even sent to our insurance from their office since the consultation in September (we can track the progress of pre-authorizations on our insurance app), and we still never got a call back from their "follow ups with insurance" which told us they weren't doing a single thing. My husband had a follow up with his orthodontist (who recommended us to Dr. Egbert) and he was floored that after months we hadn't heard anything or had any movement so he called Dr. Egbert directly (this was 5 weeks ago). Amazingly, our insurance showed a prior authorization in progress from them THAT SAME AFTERNOON, and we received a letter of approval 3 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THAT! We waited 2 weeks for the office to follow up with us to schedule an appointment (which didn't happen) and then my husband has since called them 4 times to try to get the surgery scheduled...as we have to plan everything around that recovery time. The only person who can schedule has always been out EVERY TIME he's called until today, in which she blamed our insurance and said that insurance requested additional information from the office and they are waiting to hear back from insurance. We told them we were notified a month ago that the surgery was approved and that we have a letter of approval from them, to which she gave the same answer we've been getting...."Oh, that's weird. I'll have to check with our insurance girl and get back to you." We are not holding our breath since we have NEVER received a follow up call from them. I'm sure Dr. Egbert is great, but the run around we've gotten from the administrative staff over the past 6 months with no progress and no effort is such a joke I could not recommend this office to anyone."

"If going to the dentist is not your thing, go see this man! My hygienist Cassidy was truly amazing and knowledgeable. Dr. Egbert was able to calm me with jokes, speak to me like a person, and proved he knew what to do. My procedure hurt, but he did everything with care and precision. Then, that night, he called me just to see if I was having any problems!! It was truly a pleasure to meet Dr.Egbert. Can’t thank him and his staff enough."

"Dr. Egbert is amazing! He had my son in and out of wisdom surgery in 45 minutes, including anesthesia, and everything went very well with no complications. He even called that evening to make sure my son was ok and gave him advice on relieving some pain he was having. When we had trouble with the insurance, his staff was delightful and took care of everything. We saw him at the St. Mark's office and I would highly recommend him."
