"I am a customer of Utah Sleep Apnea Dentistry and use an oral appliance to help with sleep apnea. Product & Solutions: I have been satisfied with the options and solutions. Components of my last oral appliance kept breaking after years of use, but it was a natural tradeoff based on the design I chose. I am now using a new appliance that is designed differently that cannot have that type of problem. Service: As a busy working professional, I have been frustrated by the lack of flexibility for scheduling appointments for sleep apnea patients. Since they only take these appointments on Thursdays, I often have to schedule out several weeks. Also, Thursday is one of my least desired days to go to their office due to my work schedule. They are not flexible on this, and the only explanation I received was that it's easier for them. Dr. Noot & staff: Dr. Noot is very personable and relatable. He uses the products he sells to his customers. He knows how they work and can speak to the pros and cons. He has empathy for the initial discomfort they can cause. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. I have worked with one member of the staff who seemed to quickly get defensive when I asked questions to understand or tried to related what wasn't working for me (sharing information)."
"Staff was nice and gave good customer service but the product is not so great. I used the oral mouthpiece twice and both times woke up with a headache and sore mouth. Mouthpiece is big and puts a lot of pressure on your teeth which cant be good long term. I'm sorry to say but its not worth the $2500 dollars they charge you. If you are just looking to try it out, try one of the many online retailers selling similar products for under $100"
"Normally I sleep 3 to 5 hours a night, I have had my appliance for one week and last night I slept a full 7 hours without waking. MY WIFE HASNT NOTICED ME SNORING....... So far so good !!! Randy Gleave"
"I am so impressed with Dr. Noot. I have seen patient's become more energetic, their wives and husbands are able to sleep again, and over all, lives are improved with the oral appliances for sleep apnea."
"I am really happy with my sleep apnea retainer. After the first night of use, my wife commented on her great night of sleep because I didn't wake her up with my snoring or restlessness. I was a CPAP user but I had a hard time sleeping with it on. After a couple of weeks using the retainer, I am very well rested and haven't had to nap during the day. It is easy to use and comfortable. I'm so glad I looked into it after hearing the radio ad."
