Dr. Jason Hodge, DMD

"Dr Hodge was my dentist several years ago. The reason I left and will never go back again is because he messed up my bite, which has caused all kinds of problems since. Every visit he would emphatically insist that I needed to fill the tops of all my front teeth since he felt they were wearing down. I finally succumbed to his pressure and had it done at a cost of over $1000. Immediately after, I began to have a lot of pain in my teeth. I called and reported this and he said I was just sensitive and that it had nothing to do with his work. I got another opinion and found that sure enough it was all because of his work. When he put the filling material on the tops of my teeth it made the bottom teeth longer and thus they were hitting my upper teeth. This eventually caused bone lose in my upper front teeth and I had to pay over $1000 to have a bone graft done. My mouth has never been the same. When I called his office to tell them, I never even got an apology, let alone a refund on his work. He his definitely a rip off artist. He cared more about making his money, than whether the work he did was the right work for me."

"Dr hodge is an alright person but his practice is awful. I had 3 crowns done and they all fell out a few months later. I returned to have them put back in but after a month they again, fell out. Apex dental labs must be of low quality too because they carved my teeth with no attention to detail. My cannine that was put in was large, bulbas and too big. An incissor should have somewhat of a point but they carved it like a premolar. And to add insult and more damage they had to carve down my lower incissor with out my knowlege or permission to make the upper whale tooth looking brick of a canine fit. I refuse to just go back in to have them just fall out again, the entire process was very painful on my gums, yes I am a wuss when it comes to pain and I have a very low tolorance to feeling it, after the last procedure they gave me 5 pain pills instead of the normal 15 out of spite because I wanted to stay on the same pain killer and not switch, (it worked for the pain why switch) I was treated very poorly as if I was a junkie when all I needed was actual dental care and proper pain relief from my inflammed gums and nerves. I was in pain for a week or more after every crown and noticed excessive gum trauma looking into the mirror at home. Do not go to apex dental! I tell everyone i know who needs to see a dentist not to go here. I've been to 5 different dentists and I've never had a bad experience till this last year."
