"Don't join this credit union if you are considering it. The branches in Salt Lake County, UT have been decent enough. But in the smaller surrounding towns like Springville, UT that I have tried to conduct business, they have been terrible. Not counting other times that they have failed me and when I have walked out of the building without being served in the slightest, today was the last straw for me. I went in for a cash deposit to my checking account. Leave the branch and drive home. I checked my receipt and my account before going into my house. I come to realize that the money was deposited in SOME STRANGER'S account and not mine. Worst nightmare when you leave money at the bank and you expect them to do their job. After noticing the mistake, I drive back to the branch to try and get it fixed. I end up waiting for an hour or maybe more in line. Multiple workers come up to me and tell me that the teller who made the error is the only one who can fix it. And lo and behold, the person who that teller is helping takes up more than an hour trying to set up a new account, a new auto loan and what seemed like a new existence. At the teller's desk. So what should have been a 20 min errand ended taking me almost 3 hrs with the having to drive back and the waiting in line for some help. Because the teller literally put my money in someone else's account which has never happened to me before in my adult life. Terrible customer service. They don't care about the quality of service in their branches and the online phone system is a nightmare. I am looking for a new bank. ***Update after reading other reviews. I do feel that I was racially profiled at this branch. One teller looked at me and seemed to brush me off. And when I saw the error in the transaction, the teller had chosen a Hispanic-sounding name on the account to wrongfully place my money. I am Hispanic and look the part, but my last name isn't traditionally Hispanic. So I definitely felt that I was profiled. The teller that processed me was polite and nice enough, and I could forgive her initial mistake. But I don't believe that the other staff members couldn't help me in the hour+ that I was waiting for help."
