Frandsen Dental of Orem

"Beyond upset with Frandsen Dental. Took my kids in for their cleanings earlier this year after not having insurance for awhile. And my son (7yrs old) had only lost 2 baby teeth and my daughter (6yrs old) had only lost 1 baby tooth. The dentist Dr. Rich said my son needed a mouth widener and my daughter needed a bunch of fillings. Piss poor job of explaining exactly why considering most of their baby teeth are still in and quoted me close to 6k for my son and 1k for my daughter. And then proceeded to assume that my wife and I was separated and that one of us was causing bad hygiene cleaning for the kids. And glotted that his daughter about the same age as mine had no problems keeping her teeth clean. Excuse me?!?! My wife went in to get her mouth looked at cause we already knew she needed work done. But when she informed me they wanted to charge 20k of mouth work to get done and just casually asked when to set up the next appointment I was beyond confused and we started looking for a new dentist. The act that's pushed me to finally leave this review is our new dentist had my wife ask Frandsen to email her XRays to them and Frandsen said it would cost 25$ to email them. We paid them and today my wife goes to the new dentist to find out the files where not emailed even though we paid the 25$ to Frandsen to email them!!!! My wife tried to call them and left a voice mail cause they are terrible at answering the phone and calling back. I do not recommend Frandsen Dental at all. They where good with me in high school which is why I went back but they are over priced. Their payment plans are terrible and assume you are making 6 figures a year with how much they want you to pay a month. For my son alone they said it would cost me 366$ a month for their only payment plan of 12 months. Have you seem the economy?!?!?! I feel this office is only for the upper class and just screws over the little people."

"I have PTSD from dentist work. But then once I questioned why I as being charged $3400 and asked them to give me a outline of what I was being charged with. They would not give it to me. They ended up trying to explain it to me over the phone instead of paper documents. Do not let them bully you into signing a loan until you find out what they are charging you. They will rob you blind! I have repeatedly asked for my money back they kept telling me they would call me that same day. They never did. I asked for a manager to speak with they kept saying they could handle it and would call me back. Never have I had to fight for any money like this back. They refuse to give my money back to me. I told them If I don't get my money back then I will end up taking this to the BBB. Again don't let them bully you to get a loan or get a credit care card. Until you know what they are charging you for."

"Dr Rich and some of his staff don't know what they are doing. Took my 6yr old for a cleaning an it was found she has cavities. An appointment was schedule for those cavities to be taken care of but, despite what I told him, his hygienist, his secretaries about my daughter being very scare about dentist office they only gave me prescription for some pills for her to take and get the job done, well... stupid pills did not work, I did not want my kid to go through any trauma in regards this matter and there she was crying and being hurt by the injections in her mouth. Dr rich just told me that my 6yr old was ok getting the work done, a 6yr old deciding for herself. He just denied taking care of her after being under drugs and mouth all numb up. He just walked out go the room and left me and my kid without apologizing about the issue he cause when I initially said my kid needs special attention because she gets scare. Do not go there. He is not a good Dr."

"The staffs at Frandsen Dental in Orem, they’re professionals they’re take good care of the customers. There is no waiting list. Anytime you I show up for my appointment even I came early always getting served I never waited longer for my appointment. They’re really give the clients a good service. Thank you staffs at Frandsen I appreciate you for your service, you make me happy after a bad experience I had from another place the week before."

"Frandsen dental was great! The staff were kind, courteous, and very cheerful. Every procedure was explained simply so to be completely understandable. The cleaning was quick, gentle, and painless. I feel like they have some more up to date equipment than my previous experiences which makes procedures easier. I will definitely recommend this office to my friends and family."
