"If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I went for a visit to get prepped for two crowns on the 19th of January I was there for 4 hours, partly because the dentist did some work, left to work on other patients and then had to come back and numb me again. The following week they called to see if I could come in because something they did the week before didn't work so they had to rescan my teeth. The temporary crowns that the assistant put on were well below subpar, I have never had a temporary crown put on and not have them smooth it out and fit the best they could until the permanent came in, these were smooth on the outside but on the inside by my tongue it was very rough and felt like if you chewed up a piece of gum and then let it get hard, that is what it felt like to me. I just let it go because I had already been there for 4 hours and since they were supposed to be putting the permanent crowns on the 9th of February, I figured I could live with it. I also forgot to mention that when I went back for them to scan the teeth, the assistant removed the temp crowns and when she put them back on she mentioned something about needing to fill in a little hole. three days later a pretty good sized hole started to form but since I was getting the permanent crowns on the 9th of February, I dealt with it. They called me on the 8th and said there was a mixup at the lab and my crowns were not going to be ready on the 9th, I expressed my regret at that time about even deciding to go to this dentist in the first place and I explained why (everything that I am writing in this review) and all the lady could say is "I'm sorry", we will call you when it's ready. It is now the 26th of February and I have not heard from them so I called, the girl put me on hold and after 6 minutes the phone disconnected, and nobody has bothered to call me back. You would think that after I stated there was a big hole that somebody (the dentist) would have been concerned enough to call me back, the lady either did not relay what I had to say to the dentist, or she did and they just don't have time to bother with an unhappy patient. If I had not already paid them $650 I would not even bother to go back. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired and so does the work that the assistant does not to mention that the dentist has a problem with time management (I have read in other reviews that he would leave to work on other patients, just like he did me and then have to come back and numb the patient again before he could continue). I would would advise strongly against referring anybody to this dentist as I have many regrets about going but because I have already paid $650, I have to let them finish the job."
"Went here today for a cleaning and my baby boy was upset and crying. One of the nice hygienist ladies held him while I got my x-rays done. Then they let me hold him while they were cleaning my teeth. Its nice to go somewhere where the make you feel okay about having an upset child. Thanks ladies!"
"I love the dentist that helps me. They have always been professional and kind to me. I also love how they have cookies on their desk. So fun! However, there was an instance that my husband had a hard time with that I feel I should review so that they can better accommodate customer awareness in being generally kind. My husband and I (while going to school- did not have dental insurance). Now we do and we have regularly been going to the dentist every 6 months... but because of our time in school and not having the money- we did not see the dentist often as you can imagine. So my husband and I have been pretty embarrassed about our teeth, but after year of going often our teeth are getting back to normal. One day after work for my husband he rushed to get his cleaning. He had no chance to floss or brush (only in the morning) before because he was at work. He had some sort of steak for lunch that day. They were doing his regular cleaning and some of the steak came out while they were flossing. He heard the hygienist in the hall complain to the dentist about the steak in his teeth. I mean come on. That is SO unprofessional- and for people who don't like going to the dentist in the first place, you just made it that much harder for him to go. The dentist is great. Maybe get rid of the guilt trips a bit and be a little more empathic to customers- would be my biggest suggestion."
"I absolutely love this place. I've never had a bad experience at either Tooele or Stansbury, but recently had a way above and beyond experience with Dr. Lee and Miranda. They were both so patient and explained everything, seemed like they really cared. They were both very knowledgeable and proficient at their job. Miranda is the best dental assistant I've ever had and made my replacement crown almost perfect on the first shot! She's a true artist and loves what she does, and is just amazing. Dr Lee was so patient when I had to bring my 5 year old with me, and was kind enough to notice how interested my son was in his work. He let him come over and watched, and explained everything to him. He was absolutely amazed and still talks about nice "Mr Dentist" all the time. It really made him happy and impacted his little mind, and he was treated by kindness and patience by the entire staff as well. Thank you so much guys! I highly suggest them."
