"Best whiskey selection in Altus but the prices are high. They know they have what you want. If you do know what you’re looking for and what average prices are for those products there are some good deals but they can be hidden among some of the other higher costs."

"Today, I stopped into Jimbo's liquor for my first time. I was immediately greeted by the three ladies working at the counter and they offered their help if I had any questions. I looked around the store and was getting a good grasp on their selection and variety. The ladies were extremely knowledgeable not only about stock, but about the details of each item they sell. I was absolutely shocked at how quickly they were able to rattle off what was and was not available. A few minutes later, Tommy introduced himself, I am fairly confident that he is the owner/manager. He was extremely welcoming and willing to have great conversation about some unique local spirits. After talking for a bit and sharing some bourbon stories, I settled on a few bottles that I am excited to try. More importantly, I found a local place that really knows their stuff and has fair prices at the same time. Tonight, I am enjoying a glass of Weller from the bottle I picked up and I will follow that with a couple more local things. Overall, I would recommend this place not only for its selection, but for its professional staff who obviously take pride in running an above average liquor store. They had a huge variety that ranged from the basics, to local bottles, to hard to find such as Weller/McKenna BIB/Buffalo Trace/Woodford Masters Selection/and so much more!"

"These guys have already special ordered three different brands of liqour and 40oz's for me in less than a month, and each were reasonably priced upon arrival. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Also has a small smoke shop selection inside, and an attached convenience store."
