"A hidden gem on Danforth. Staff and management are always extremely friendly and helpful. This theater is wheelchair friendly and they have a family bathroom in addition to a large men's and women's restroom that is clean. Regarding concession items, the popcorn and drinks come with unlimited refills and that includes icee drinks (cherry, coke, blue raspberry). They offer gourmet pretzel sticks, Nachos, hotdogs, dippin dots, Bluebell ice cream and multiple types of candy. The only con is that the popcorn paper bags leak butter on the bottom. Seats are comfortable and recline. My wife and I never have an issue with seeing the bottom of the movie screen and we have sat in different spots in different sized theater rooms at this location. Between each seat is a small retractable privacy wall that is located between the shoulder and head section of the seats. There are also small table tops for each seat to hold food and come with a single cup holder. They also offer $5 Tuesday's which is for any movie any time of the day. Every Monday senior tickets are $5. And last but not least they offer a military discount on movie tickets. My wife appreciates that we are able to preorder our tickets online and get to pick exactly where we sit. We highly recommend Kickingbird Cinema and greatly enjoy that it has never been crazy busy when we visit."

"What a great locally owned theater. Lots of choices in movies and showtimes. Popcorn deal was amazing; If only you could pay for a refill on drink. The seats were good and the theater sizes were appropriate! Sound and screen were perfect! Thanks for having us!"

"This is an older movie theater, but it's also a little cheaper. The concessions were reasonable, popcorn was hot and buttery, and server's friendly. They were showing the movies we wanted to see and they weren't super busy. We went to the big, brand new theater and it was sold out 4 hours before the movie started. Their parking lot was jammed full as well. We truly enjoyed Kickingbird, and recommend it to anyone who wants fewer crowds and lower prices."

"I’ve only been to this theater once when visiting family in Oklahoma. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It wasn’t too crowded. The concession stand offered a wide range of snacks and drinks. The atmosphere was a little drab and the seats weren’t the most comfortable plus they didn’t have stadium seating. However, I’d definitely go again!"

"I have been going to this theater since I was a small child. It's great to me because it's right in the middle of Edmond and I don't have to drive out to the mall and fight those crowds. No stadium seating here but they run all of the same new releases and there is always plenty of good seating. The counter is always ran by local students and they have a great manager. You can also come in and buy a large bag of popcorn to go and they put in a LARGE plastic bag. You get way more than what would be in a normal large bag."
