Reviews of Bristol Park Apartments
"I lived here for three years. It's a cheap price but maybe that comes at a price. I woke up once to a maintenance man in my apartment who had just let themselves in without any prior warning. I was not properly dressed and my husband was already at work. This guy just leered at me while I was trying to make sense of what was going on after I had just woken up while he was standing there pretending to fix the kitchen cabinet that was falling off of the wall (which never got fixed). When I told management that their worker had just came in without knocking and I felt very uncomfortable as a woman alone to wake up to a man in my house who didn't even say sorry just leered at me while I was in a tank top and underpants they were very dismissive saying why did I care was I embarrassed that he saw me in my underwear. I said no as a woman you should understand how it would feel unsafe to wake up to a man who you don't know in your home while you just woke up and who is acting like you are the weird one! The women up there were defensive of this guy saying maybe it's a language barrier ? When he was speaking perfectly fine English. I don't know in what country it is appropriate to come in on a sleeping woman alone unannounced when her husband is gone. It's almost like this guy studied our schedule. I brought all his tools back to the front office and told them never to let it happen again. My husband came home from his shift for some lunch and this guy tried to open the door again! This time he opened the door to my husband and he suddenly didn't know how to speak English and ran off. They are lucky I did not own a gun. I paid my bills but I guess that isn't enough to be respected on their property. Our neighbors also would go on illegal drug binges and I would come home to drug dealers on our front step wanting money from them that they owed and one time our neighbors harassed us while we walked to our car for work throwing water bottles at our heads because we asked them to not bang on the mailbox and yell loud like a lunatic on mothers day on one of their drug binges. This isn't a safe place to raise children. The police are always there and getting calls about residents. If you have an issue with the slum lords or the disorderly neighbors it's best to go straight to the police with it don't bother with the front office. It's a high traffic area so if you want to use the laundry rooms be prepared for homeless people to be sleeping in there especially at night. The kitchen cabinets are falling off the walls and the bathtub they paint over previous layers of paint so when you get out of there you are clean but with paint chips all over you. Once at Christmas time our hot air and hot water went out and they leave early for Christmas so we were about a week without hot water or hot air. There was painted over mold in some places. They don't replace carpet between tenants. If you don't speak Spanish then don't expect the management to care about you or treat you decent. When I first moved in it was different management and they gave free breakfast to tenants and had little events and things. They don't have enough dumpsters to support the amount of people living there so the trash overflows. The roads in the apartments are in very poor shape and people race through there. I didn't feel safe living there. People party outside and leave all their beer cans and bottles outside the next day. If you have a family and don't want them exposed to drug violence and debauchery then I advise to look elsewhere. If you are a respectable person who doesn't want to live in crime then look elsewhere if you can afford it."
"The office people are so nice, especially Crystal Fenton, the quality of the apartments are decent. They clean the pools every monday and the gym is clean and in decent conditioning, the apartments should stay clean, hope this helps!!!"
"Crystal who works in the office is the absolute best! She is always so sweet and always helps us with anything we need!"
"Worst experience I ever had thank god I’m out of there, when I first moved in I told them that the cabins were falling apart never fix them then every time it rain they would be a leak on the roof and it took them forever to fix then I told that there was a leak in the bathroom that it even made a hole I reported it and never went in to fix it but anyway they charge you so much amount of money that they don’t have good security or cameras they keyed my car they a few weeks later they lash my tires it point less that they have a security guard going around if he don’t do his job right but anyway $860 for rent it to much to not have good quality apartments"
"Inflation has hit this complex multiple times! Over the past 3 years, rent has increased exponentially. I get it! Costs have skyrocketed. However, NOW you have to pay them to pay them! You have to pay a service fee just to pay your rent. There is no recourse for this. It's anywhere from $2.49 to $9.99 just to pay your rent. To them! How can they get away with basically raising the rent by imposing these fees? Edit: The owner responded that it is not them, but the software company that processes their payments. How is this not them? It's the service that they choose. Just another way to raise rent, bypassing leases. They also refuse any cash or check payments directly to the office. The only way to pay is through third party. Fees are then required."
