"I lived here for a little over a year and I almost had a mental breakdown because of the infestation. Everything was clean and smelled like pine sol when we moved in, but after a while this continuous stench of rot just lingered in our apartment, and we started seeing... These. We put down glue traps (I made sure no mice/lizards were present before committing to that). Initially caught some things by accident like rolly pollies but after a time we caught nothing but roaches. Apartment staff initially came by to spray some D-grade grocery store "pest control" spray. They would send this lady to spray who would linger in my apartment and start talking to me about her life and I couldn't get her to leave until she was done. And the spray did nothing. They came in one day with their spray bottles and they said “we're here to spray for bedbugs.” I said we don't have bedbugs, we have roaches. He says “oh! Well have a good day :)” and leaves? Read between the lines, that means my neighbors had bedbugs. They came every week at first to spray but then they “took us off the list.” We asked to be put back on pest control repeatedly and asked them to fumigate and they always promised to look into it but didn't. The roaches continued to get worse and worse and by the time they sent someone again, all the pest control was doing was interrupting my day. When we finally had enough money and made the arrangements to move, we used two foggers in our tiny two bedroom apartment. All it did was make the roaches mad. They have come with us to the new home but we are starving them out and poisoning them with expensive roach gel that could have been evaded if this apartment was honest about their conditions. Also they tried to raise our rent in these conditions. Don't ever live here. Save yourself the trouble and the trauma of waking up all night every night with something crawling on you like a human buffet. Also wanted to add, if the infestation wasn't enough, - I had food and packages stolen from my doorstep, and once someone went out when they saw a delivery driver and pretend to be me to steal my food. -Our apartment backed up two times since we moved in, and we were left with our belongings in an inch of sewage water for the better part of a week because maintenance said it "isn't an emergency since the other bathroom still works." -Our shower was decrepit (no drain cover, drain covered in messy caulk, shower handle was not attached at all) and maintenance said they would renovate and fix it but never did. All they did was replace the handle. -Hot water would cut out at random without warning. -Neighbors were ab_sing haaaard dr_gs, and each other. Shrieking all night every night until they moved out. While they lived next to me the bathroom above ours had a leak and they cut out the ceiling between our apartment and theirs. I could hear every word of every argument for a week. -Maintenance, God forbid they actually fix anything, would not clean up when they left. During that same week that I had to hear my neighbors bicker every hour of every day, they left leaking dirty water stains on the walls and plaster / wood all over the floor. Not a safe or comfortable place to live. Not even classified as survival. This apartment is a slum."
"The maintenance man does not know how to drive his vehicle, when he learns how to not hit people in the parking lot, I will raise your review"
"I lived in one of the townhouses before the management changed. I really loved the townhouse layout and the area. The only issue was, because the townhouses look pretty identical to the apartment buildings from the outside, many of the other tenants didn't realize that my porch was not a communal area. There were several times that I had to ask smokers/drinkers to leave my porch and I had multiple items (a plant, a deck chair, my gardening shoes, a few random items we rested there for less than an hour when we paused to eat while we were loading my moving truck) stolen from my porch by people I assume innocently thought that it was a communal porch and the items being left there meant they were up for grabs. Also, guests of tenants who mistook my building for the quadriplex building they were looking for would just try to come right in my door, which meant keeping my deadbolt locked 24/7 to prevent strangers from walking into my home."
"The grounds are kinda gross, people don't clean up after their dogs. And the old paint makes the complex look old."
"Literally can't walk through the grass. Everyone has a dog and there is no designated disposal areas. Its like walking through a minefield. To add to that, the walls are so thin you can hear the neighbors T.V. I do not recommend trying to put bathroom shelves up either. The people are friendly tho."
