"DO NOT MOVE HERE. Multiple occasions of them saying I owe money that I’ve already paid. ROACHES LIVING IN WALLS. Pest control never comes when they say they will. Air filters wasn’t changed for the entire two years I lived there. Extremely hard to get a hold of front office.Disgusting tenants and lousy staff."

"All in all, Britton Crossing is not the worst place to live, meaning it is also not the best. PESTS: So far I have seen gnats, ants, spiders, crickets, june bugs, and frogs. So if you're afraid of these things, this place is not for you. I'm not necessarily afraid of spiders, but waking up at 2am to get some water and seeing a huge spider sitting on your wall would startle anyone. MAINTENANCE: I never had a problem with maintenance until my dishwasher broke back in February 2017. It's June, i've been to the office in person twice, called at least a dozen times, and even went on their website where they say residents can submit their own request. Nothing. We've basically just decided to live with it until we move out in November. But before that, our garbage disposal was leaking and they fixed that the next day with only one call to the office. So there's that. OFFICE STAFF: I moved in when Aubrey was still in office, we now have a new office manager. I don't know the new lady's name, but they were both very friendly and professional. Personally I like the new lady more, but only because she actually seems to care about the residents on a deeper level, not to say Aubrey didn't, just didn't show it. GROUNDS: The grounds are kept pretty clean, especially considering how trashy some of these tenants are. They routinely throw trash from their cars into the street because they know maintenance will pick it up for them. They will also discard their unwanted furniture in the street for the same reason... They mow, and paint, and repair things around the complex constantly, so if something is broken for a while it's not from them being lazy. UTILITY COSTS: We only pay electric, and for our two bedroom we never pay more than $65 a month, although we are very conservative. This place has done the necessary renovations to help keep energy costs down, and it is greatly appreciated! Honestly, if we didn't need more space, we wouldn't be opposed to staying here. Hope this review helps!"

"DO NOT RENT HERE!! They have the most dishonest people working the front office. If I could give 0 stars, I would! My husband rented an apartment here for less than a month while we relocated from Texas. The apartment was filthy when he moved in, the fridge smelled like rotting fish, we found a nail in the carpet, I could list all of the nastiness for days. When brought to the attention of the front office, their only explanation was that their regular cleaning service was unavailable and they had to use a different company. At that point we were told that our security deposit would be returned to us. 2 and a half to 3 weeks into my husband living there, we get an email from the front office asking if we still had the tracking number for the certified letter that we mailed to them containing our security deposit and application fee money orders. We did not keep this information because we were told that they had received the money. Come to find out, the front office couldn't get off their lazy asses to pick up the letter from the post office... which is literally next door to the complex. After 15 days, the post office mailed it back to Texas and Lord only knows where that letter is now with $235.00 of our hard-earned money in it. Everything out of their mouths is a LIE! They told us just last week that they had mailed us a check to refund the money orders. Now we're being told that they will not refund the $235.00 at all. DO NOT RENT HERE!! EVER!! They have some of the most shady business practices that I have ever seen. I will be contacting the BBB."
