Reviews of The Alora
"Don’t recommend theses to anyone. They don’t care that much tbh this review is long over due we haven’t lived there in over a year and STILL haven’t received our deposit back it’s ridiculous!! They tried to give us a check but no one would cash it cause that company owes them money. And it was only for 100$ when out deposit was 300!"
"I’ve lived here for about 3 maybe 4 years now I’ve never felt so disheartened to live in a area, when I first moved in things weren’t that bad in fact everything was pretty decent, but over time I’ve have problems from terrible neighbors, to bugs and just today a lack of water because the actual people who run the place aren’t paying the water bill. That is one of the only other things apart from rent that we pay for and you literally aren’t paying it?! You aren’t paying for electricity or internet just simple plumbing and livable conditions, people shouldn’t feel like they have to move into a hotel for the holidays because you refuse to use our money properly, people shouldn’t feel like their being ripped off when your page clearly advertised gyms, pools even a restaurant, for people to interact with people shouldn’t feel like they’re unsafe because you simply refuse to use the gates to keep people who don’t belong out, their are literally families living in these apartments no one outside of the tenets should be in the apartments, if your looking for apartments please do not come here find somewhere else to live, as for the people who run the apartments please pay the water bill, fix these apartments and kick or keep out people who don’t not belong or even violent tenants these apartments are practically in the range of breaking The Landlord Tenet Act, people WILL start withholding payment if you continue to not address what are basic needs."
"These are a complete and total dump I haven't had running water in my kitchen since 12.15.22 and they will NOT fix it or move me and now I haven't had Air conditioning for about 3- 4 weeks. I want to add to this now that I'm moving.... .the reason I have to move is because the Alora WILL NOT fix my clogged kitchen drain and it has become a health hazard for me to live here and section 8 pulled the funding. It has been like that since 12/15/22 and they won't even answer the phone in the office this place is horrible."
"i grew up in these apartments and it use to be great, so many open pools and a inside pool with a gym, it was safe to walk around. now i have a roach invasion and there was a time where they let the grass grow so long. right now the trash hasn’t even been picked up and i can smell the trash every time i go outside. very disappointing"
"Will not let me leave a ZERO STAR rating. This place is has gone WAY down since first moving in. They do not care as long as they get their money. Currently looking for a new place, but not much in my budget at this time. I guess you get what you pay for. The office never answers the phones. When you leave a message, they never return your call. If they manage to fix anything, they never call to let you know. They only mow the grass once a year. I repeatedly called in my AC unit, which still has yet to be fixed. Currently, it is 83 degrees in my apartment. Emergency maintenance is a complete joke. Squatters taking cover in vacant units by breaking glass patio doors out. Trash everywhere. It is very embarrassing. UPDATE: So on Tuesday, June 27th, they FINALLY came and "fixed" my AC. (it was originally called in on June 8th) They informed me the capacitor needed replaced, so they did so as well as topped off the freon. It was nice and cool in here, exactly 3 days. Here we are on Friday, June 30th, and the unit will not even kick on. Unit set on 72 and is 78 and climbing. If anyone knows of any places that are under 700 for a one bedroom, please let me know. Current looking."
