"As much as I enjoy coming back to Lisa, I will no longer use Jackson Hewitt. I never realized how much they charge for the service they provide. When you barely get anything back and $770 goes to fees it’s very disheartening. I would recommend looking at other places to get your taxes done."

"I have been going to Jackson Hewitt for 13 years. To keep this short the service has gone down fast the last two years. Last year they made a mistake and the IRS caught it. Almost cost me a little bit of money. For 2021, wow. Received a letter from state tax commission that said I owe them for 2021. Cool, scheduled an appointment. Get there for my appointment and wait till five after. No employee, called help line to get store number. Lady puts me on hold then come back. Says she is at lunch. Did know she had an appointment. Okay no worries. Then she sends me a text that reads, "Mr Gillard this is wynonne from Jackson Hewitt just wanted u to know I am on my way i jus stepped out for lunch". I didn't reply. She called to tell me I was intrusive on her time and she was going to take a full hour. Whatever back to my original issue. After reporting that crazy lady, I finally talk to Becky. The nicest person by far. She is way to good for that dump of a place. The lady who prepared my taxes checked the wrong box while filling. They never issued a payment for taxes. Moving forward she called her manager to learn it was my fault. I should have checked the final proof read and caught it. So now I'm out the $500 for state tax I already paid. Thanks Jackson Hewitt! Real tax professionals Not!!!! Do not go. I will not be back!"
