Reviews of NobiliTea
"*Let me caveat the whole thing by stating right off the bat: THIS IS NOT A BOBA TEA PLACE. It is a weird, tea-refresher drink place that happens to have some boba balls for the drinks available-not tapioca. Anyways, onto the actual review. Unless you're a 7 year old girl with a big sweet tooth, I'm not sure who this place is for. I don't want to immediately sound negative, but from a business perspective : the atmosphere, the type of drinks, the theme of the drinks, the sweetness of the drinks - it makes me wonder if they had any other demographics in mind other than little girls and their moms. In case you're unaware, the drinks here are very VERY sweetened, cold drinks, that I..."think" have some tea in them? You won't know because the "tea" aspect of this establishment is overshadowed by the metaphorical glitter of everything else. The drinks are Disney themed (which I'm sure are not legally licensed to, but that's neither here nor there). Sure, this place is not for me. And that's perfectly fine. The reason it lost 3 stars for me is for these two reasons: Flavor, and Price. I got a "Mickey" and a "Piglet". First, the Mickey was pretty disgusting. Imagine if you blended 4 tablespoons of Ovaltine powder with water, ice, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, more sugar, and maple syrup - that's exactly what it tastes like. And the piglet was fine, but it was SOOO STRONG, unbearably so. As a Saturday afternoon, post high school game- refresher, sure it would be fine. However, point number 2, price. Holy hell, I have not seen over pricing this horrible in a while. I got the small ones, and each drink was over $6.00. But the metaphorical cherry on top was that you are charged separately for items that should be standard in the drink. (See screenshot). For example, if you went to Chipotle and they AUTOMATICALLY charged you for Guac, unless you told them you didn't want it. I just ordered, very simply, a "small Mickey". I wasn't asked if I wanted whipped cream, or chocolate drizzle. The lady just rang it up. Surely enough, I was charged an extra $1.00 for those, which I actually did not want. It's just part of the normal drink, as standard. And even though, on the receipt, the piglet is labeled as "piglet boba", the boba is actually $1.25 extra. So, 2 small drinks: $15.95. You read that right. Don't expect to be wowed by the drinks, but DO expect to have a heart attack, even more than you do at Starbucks, because of the pricing. I almost came back to get a refund, but I didn't want to be rude. I'll cap off the review by summarizing: 1. This is NOT A BOBA TEA place. 2. Prices are sky high. 3. The target demographic are young female, the type to get the fruity drinks at Starbucks. If this is you, you'll have a great time, and you probably won't mind the prices. So the review is more of a 4.5 stars for you. For everyone else, well, try it out yourself and see if you agree with me. Happy hunting!"
"Gone a few times, their blended drinks are a lot better than their syrup drinks. Both of these, neverland and a strawberry drink. They were out of strawberry boba and I had to pay extra to get a different flavor of boba. They were extremely sweet and thick with syrup. Would definitely recommend their blended drinks or chai teas instead of their seasonal drinks"
"I had the Eggnog Chai. It was delicious! The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was great as well since it was clean, quiet, and inviting. Would recommend this place. One little thing that wasn't big enough to take away that fifth star, I do not regret paying $8 for a tea, but it will be a treat for me, not a regular thing."
"I am absolutely in love with NobiliTea. I’m honestly in there almost everyday. Haylee is a total sweetheart. Always greets us with a smile and makes sure we are taken care of. The handcrafted drinks are amazing, but the customer service is out of this world! NobiliTea, you have a customer for life."
"I am a tea drinker, hot or cold. Made my first visit with my wife and we both loved the tea we chose. So far between us we have tried at least 6 different teas and each of them have been really good. If you love tea I suggest you give this place a try, whether the tea is hot or cold I think you will really enjoy it!"
