H&R Block

"This is the worst place I could have gone. I’ve gone back 3 times now to try and figure things out and they still overcharged me $110 after we had made an agreement the FIRST TIME i went in. They were not willing to work with me or give me the discount that we agreed upon on my first appointment and have had to report them to their HR office since and threaten to take them to court. DONT GO HERE!!!!"

"Very disappointing experience, it was obvious The tax preparer were more concerned with getting you in setting you down going through the process very quickly, (My experience)the entire process from beginning to end, took no longer than 15 to 20 minutes , The entire process seemed rushed, I had questions that didn’t seem fully answered, and I believed a full refund was not completed. Very disappointing. I will not be returning next year."

"I've my taxes done at H&R Blocks for the last 9 or 10 years and them have messed up 5 of those years. Luckily I paid the extra $40 each year for the "Peace of Mind" or I would have already paid thousands in penalties and interest from there mistakes. I just checked the status of this year's refund from the IRS and it said I wouldn't be getting my $3000 refund but I owed over $1100. It said my dependents names and social security numbers didn't match there records. So apparently H&R Block submitted an electronic form to the IRS with bogus information. Like maybe they should clear the form of the previous customers information before submitting it in your name. This is it for me, I will find someone new for next year. Don't waste your time and money with H&R Block."

"I was before whit another tax agency for year's. The last couple of year's I was not happy anymore. I thought I try H&R Block. I mast to say I was surprised. Whit the service, experience I have. The lady I have last year and today very smart, friendly lady's. If I have a question I don't understand. The explain to me. I thank you to the lady served me today. One question I don't understand because of language barrier. Sorry if I don't understand a question in live it open."

"it seems they do good enough with simple returns. however my return was not simple, and there were multiple errors on it. after receiving a letter from the IRS I have tried calling this location and other locations in lawton and they are either not there, don't care, or just don't return phone calls. I spent 350$ filing my return with them and they have been a huge disappointment. if your return requires real work, I wouldn't go here. UPDATE I was told to go to their Sheridan location. it was even worse. the "tax pros" there were completely confused and had to call someone who was out of town to help them. 1 week later, still no action, still no call back. H&R what do I have to do for you to fix this? do I need to call my bank and contest the $350 dollar charge that I paid for the services you were supposed to render? do i need to get representation and go to civil court? what do i have to do to make you understand this is serious?UPDATE: I'm going to continue to call the jokers at your help line and offices until you understand this is serious. horrible horrible horrible customer service."
