"This is one of those special eating places you won't forget or regret. The people running this place are so nice. We didn't have to wait long and our server was very attentive. The food was plated beautiful and tasted so good. I ordered the "Highland Park" which is grilled chicken with swiss and house marinade. This place is gourmet with small town charm. There was plenty of room for parking. Inside, and even outside, was decked out with flare. It's definitely worth checking out. I loved everything about it."

"First time visiting 1836 Cafe this morning. Got a breakfast platter with chicken fried steak for dine in and ordered Togo the hamburger steak and baked potato. Everything tasted great and the service was excellent and friendly. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying other menu items."
