"Well, what could have been a 5 star experience ended up in a sour tasting one. After agreeing to the estimate we scheduled an install that included upgraded gutters and leafguard. Although they had some unforseen vehicle issues that caused them to be late, they communicated their time of arrival & arrived at a reasonable hour. The techs were friendly, professional and their work was performed and completed with the utmost care and attention to detail. The gutters look amazing and if not for what happened next, I would have highly recommended them. However, when it came time to pay, I was informed that above and beyond what we had already agreed upon, there would be an additional credit card processing fee. This, of course was never disclosed prior to the work being performed. Keep in mind, they also dont take checks and have only 2 options: card or cash. So, unless you have $4000 in cash laying around you have to use a card. I reminded them that I have a written estimate as well as an email that clearly stated the total amount due and that there was never any mention of an additional fee. After a few emails where they attempted to continue to pursue this fee, they eventually & appropriately waived it. I essentially left them with no choice because I stood my ground & simply refused to pay this exorbitant fee. So, it truly was unfortunate and completely unnecessary. Upfront pricing is the only way to do business and I hope they change this part of how they manage their system of providing a quote."
