Hobby Lobby - Transportation

"Drove for them for 7mths. My husband had a heart attack but recovered quickly and was ready to go back to work in a month time. Because he had follow up doc appointments refused to let him go. Have the time off. Just wanting to switch out home days and they flat said no. If you do work for them they I advise recording every safety conversation. I was true let down by this company You are no one to them at all , they truly failed us. Is an immediate argument for any issues that are completely out of your control. Now matter how hard you try to be nice and do your best it doesn't matter. In the end no one ask about my husband after his heart attack. In the office."

"I would avoid working here . Pay is average . But if you are having a family emergency you will not come back to a job if you are scheduled to work even if you call . Also safety is constantly bugging you for every little thing and want you to cut home time early to come in to see them . They won’t talk to you on the phone like safety at a normal trucking company would"

"Had one of your drivers on I40 in California tonight nearly run over me because I had to slow down quickly when a truck in front of me made a sudden lane change. The driver had been riding within feet of my back door for miles, then proceeded to pull beside me and flip me off and yell obscenities on the CB. I gave it right back so if he thought intimidation worked he was mistaken. I wish I could say this was an isolated occurrence, however, it seems that several times each week I encounter one of these drivers following too closely and driving aggressively. Perhaps some additional training in driver safety would be a good idea company wide for your drivers."

"It's pretty bad when there's no way to contact Hobby Lobby transportation. Especially when they have driver heading down I-35 in traffic with no break lights. At one point traffic was at a stop, I got the driver to roll down his window and told him. He says ," Oh" then proceeded down the highway after traffic let up."
