"I have a few issues with this place. It smelled like weed, it was dirty, and between the music and TV, it was too loud. This mainly bothered me because there were kids present. I would have left, but this place was nearby, and I had somewhere important to be. Now, I understand not getting in the chair at the exact time of your appointment all the time...sometimes, you have to wait about 10 minutes for them to finish up. But 20 minutes is unacceptable and way outside what should be considered an appropriate grace period for someone who made an appointment. Even if the appointment was booked at the last minute, I feel the barber should not accept the appointment if they know they wouldn't be able to meet the clients timeline. Punctuality is key. Needless to say, the cut was a 3.5 out of 5, and the conversation was good. Thank you, Jamaica, for that. That is why I paid you in spite of how I felt about the environment. So I'm not looking or desiring a refund. You still provided a service. If you have families and care about what type of atmosphere they are in, avoid this place. If you value punctuality, avoid this place. Jamaica, I highly recommend you find another spot because it makes you look complicit with what is happening around there. All the best to this shop.
