Tapered Barber Shop

"This was my first time visiting, as I have been cutting my 6 year old's hair since the pandemic. We are new to Oklahoma so I decided it was time to establish a barber home. I scheduled with Tavia specifically because she had "Master" in her title. Please be advised that she also charges more than the other barbers because of that. Well, she was late. My appointment was for 4 p.m. and I we arrived at 3:45 and she didn't arrive until 4:07, and when she did, she walked right past us (the only people waiting) and didn't acknowledge us until I stared at her confused because I started to wonder if she was even the right person. The cut wasn't even better than what I do and I spent $56 on the appointment, and I still tipped out of courtesy and she upsold me some wave grease for $18. I told her I wanted my son's hair cut, but still dark, and tapered on the sides and the back. She slapped that grease on his hair, tapered the sides and barely the back and was done in less than 30 minutes. His hair was so frizzy at the top that it didn't look like she cut any of it. Idk, but you can't be a master barber and not know how to cut curly hair. No disrespect, but the white guy I saw in there cutting another little black boy's hair in there should be the Master Barber. I will never go here again. The interaction and vibe she gave off was hella weird and it was hella hot in there. I better upgrade my clippers because if this is standard service then I am better off continuing to do it myself. The up-close pictures are what she did, and you can see all that bulk and frizz. The full body pictures are when I cut his hair. Zoom in. No frizz in sight and still dark. I don't have any license or training. I'm just a mom who has watched YouTube and I use clippers under $30 on Amazon."
