"I am so sick and tired of the sand trucks going through my neighborhood here in Saint Jo. The speed limit is 30mph and those damn steering wheel holders go thru here like a bat outa hell. Since the sand plant is in cooke county, the trucks should the road from Muenster. I've been recording them speeding thru here and calling the trucking companies, and will continue to do so. I've finally got the police to patrol the area more. Not giving up until those sob's learn to slow down! And here we are again, Damn Splash truck drivers speeding thru Saint Jo again. It amazes me what people will do when they know we do not have any police officers. Just a fair warning to you Splash drivers, we are watching and recording you, we are also reporting you to law enforcement."
"I was assulted by one of their employees and almost died. They took it as fighting but there was a witness that denied seeing anything. I got fired and they kept him because I was newer. I almost died and they could care less."
"I live in Saint Jo & the noise from all of the non-stop trucking is unbearable. They are coming & going 2 at a time past my house at all hours of the day & night. I can't sleep without the trucks waking me up several times a night. It's just awful. They are located in Cooke County. I wish they would take Cooke County routes instead of right through the middle of our small town. There is no peace here any longer. They have spoiled our quiet little town & have torn up the roads between the site & our city limits. It's unthoughtful & shouldn't be allowed to continue, especially when people are trying to sleep."
"Drivers, they will not load all in one drop, their fall protection doesn't move and is dangerous trying to use it, might as well open both lids before you pull onto property somewhere. Scale operator is a sweetie, and was very helpful though"
"Friendly and efficient staff. Despite the high volume of trucks that flow through their facility (sometimes 160 per day), they do a great job of keeping things moving and almost always have a great attitude."
