"After three months of beating around the bush and trying to get things done/ they finally let me know after hours of phone calls that we didn’t qualify because they couldn’t see their OWN credit from over a year ago. we installed 2 window units specifically because we were told we could get assistance for the utility bill over the phone: and now my grandparents have a $200 up charge in usage they can’t afford. They’ve been telling me constantly that every day they will install the unit in their bedroom and every day nobody comes and new “expected date” is thrown out. this has been going on for 14 days as of today. And now it’s “the contractors fault and not theirs because the ac units for order didn’t come in. “ More information and more miscommunication. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever ever ever had to deal with. They all but told me to quit calling- and now I have two 80yr old elderly with unaffordable charges, and a thermostat reading 86 -91 degrees some days with no sort of clue of when it’s going to be installed or why no one has come for the last two Friday’s while they have endured the hottest summer on record. if I had known it would take this long and been this exhausting I would have just tried to find the money, drive from Austin, to buy them myself: or relocate my grandparents for the summer. PEOPLE NEED HELP. They didn’t want to give us any and it’s obvious."
