"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! SCAM!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. This management company is an actual scam. They had us put down a deposit 3x the rent ($4,800). And if that wasn't enough after I moved out they took my deposit and charged me an additional $4,000. The place was left in the same condition that was rented to us and I had photographic evidence of everything. Yet they decided to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on replacing the carpet for the whole unit (double charged me for it on purpose and admitted that there was damage from the previous tenant) , buying 40 packs of lightbulbs because apparently it doesn't matter if we replaced them they have to be same color (fyi that was not in the lease agreement), blinds that had already been damaged prior to move in, $20 garbage bags when absolutely no garbage was left in the unit, etc, and claiming to have paid their workers over $25 an hour for inspecting the unit and painting (which we did) and claiming that it took around 30 hours to do so. These people will walk all over you if you let them. Thankfully I knew my rights and asked for receipts. But do you think it stops there? Their receipts DON'T MATCH UP with that we're being charged with. Remember I mentioned we were double charged for carpets. That was a $2,000 charge that was unaccounted for. Do you think these people even apologize? They do not, they even add a markup fee to every charge and when I remind them that it was not in the lease agreement they take that off too. BRIAN AND BROOKE are to blame for this. They were extremely disrespectful in their tone when speaking to me and managed the whole situation very unprofessionally. It took months of them threatening to send me to collections (fyi it was only a third party collection agency since none of this could actually hold up in court). It is very clear that the owner does not even know and they are keeping the money because once I threatened them with notifying the owner and taking them to court they took the additional charges off and kept my deposit. They are lucky I don't actually take them to court for fraud and negligence. AVOID AT ALL COSTS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE."
"After living in an apartment with no useable lawn for 3 years they made me and my ex sign a new lease more than 4 times, the 4th time I was separated for almost a year and told them specifically that neither I nor my father would be on the new lease. Lo and behold when my ex moved out they are going after my father and I. Not only did they not return the deposit they charged an early move out fee even though we were paying a monthly 100 hold over fee that and they pretty much hiked the 25% every year, made the previous leases inaccessable in their management system so we can't easily review them and charged over 3000 for move out, paint and carpets for normal wear and tear after not paying back the deposit. They are basically charging us for a remodel. Additionally it is in my divorce decree that this debt is not mine, however they still are harassing me with nasty emails and phone calls that cause me emotional distress.Beware, these guys increase rent excessively, charge holdover fees even if you sign a new lease, don't return deposits (that I know of, they never explained what happened to it), and don't honor their agreements."
"DO NOT RENT FROM DENSLEY! they have consistently tried to scam us out of money and have been awful at keeping up with maintenance on our complex. they tried to charge us $300 for the maintenance man to wipe a clorox wipe on our ceiling for 20 minutes when we reported mold. they charged our neighbor $2,000+ to replace their nasty carpet with brand new hardwood (blamed it on the neighbor for her pets even though she paid for carpet cleaning and paid a pet deposit + additional rent for her pet). i have had to reach out multiple times for lawn being 10 inches long and garbage all over our unit outside. just recently we had a massive snow storm and we had to call out of work because they failed to get a plow out here and we couldn’t get out of our parking lot. when i reached out on a wednesday afternoon to ask when a plow would come, they insisted it would be no later then the next morning. it has now been 3 days and there has still been no plow here. when i reached out again and told them they are violating their lease since we pay for lawn care (which i feel should count as snow removal in winter) they said snow removal isn’t in their lease agreement. it is their job to remove snow on their property and it says nowhere on our lease that we are responsible for snow removal. horrible horrible management."
"Gavin has been a pleasure to work with. He is friendly, super knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He was never pushy or rude, he gave us our time and moved at our pace, always making sure we had all the info we needed to make an educated decision. I loved working with him and will continue to use him every time I can in the future! Thanks Gavin!"
"Had the pleasure of meeting Gavin Walker through the solar company I worked for then heard of the work he did for a friend and upon getting to know him he knows his stuff, not pushy and understands the clients he works with. So I had him help find me a property in which I got a great deal on and also in a very nice area so definitely my go to for referrals and any questions I have with the next property I end up buying."
