"I'm transgender and need hair removal for surgery. However, I only need one or two sessions as I've had hair removal at another clinic in a another city. I felt very taken advantage of by the sales person now that I am realizing. I was able to negotiate the price down to about 900 with a monthly payment of 35, so I didn't think the price was too odd (my previous sessions were $150), but I only need one or two sessions and the skin will be in a place inaccessible to a laser after the surgery. The sales person ignored me when I told them this. I also find it odd that they couldn't just offer a flat rate now that I'm finding out that's how pretty much every other hair removal clinic does it. And it feels dishonest to wear a white lab coat when the title "Dr." is not found anywhere near your name. It makes me angry that they take advantage of transgender people like this by putting our flag on their advertising. I am lucky that I did not qualify for a loan and all I have with them is a payment agreement. For most people, these prices are just outrageous. For transgender people, these prices are a sacrifice because getting hair removal is something we have to do in order to avoid discrimination. edit: I contacted the sales person and asked for a cancellation and a refund, which I was told I would be given. A week later and I'm still receiving phone calls from them everyday and they are telling me I must call them back or they will assume I do not want to cancel. Just save yourself the ridiculous headache and go somewhere else. I would give negative stars if I could for this."

In my consultation they were up front with pricing after I told them the areas I wanted treated but before I made any commitment. Financing was easy and interest free. The treatment is relatively pain free, it feels like snapping a rubber band. The results have been great so far (I have fair skin and dark hair).
