Reviews of Eagle Park
"We luv this park except for the fact that there is very little seating for parents near the playgrounds. There's only one short bench per playground unless you want to sit under one of the two pavilions and those are not close enough to the playgrounds to feel like you are safely watching your kids. Especially for the little kids playground. Lots of great things about this park though. Great track for walking or biking, has two bathrooms one at the parking lot and one closer to the playgrounds, has a wheelchair swing, has the two pavilions with three picnic tables each and plenty of room for big groups, and the track is lit after dark. One other thing that would be helpful is a paved path for walking or biking access from the main part of town. You can't get through bcuz of the boggy marsh area separating it from town."
"When we visited last summer, there was no shade over the playground areas so everything was HOT! Also, the walk from the car to the playground area is pretty far, especially for little ones that are too big to be carried that far. Other than those couple of “issues”, we loved our visit and the kids still had a blast playing."
"The parks landscape is well maintained, bathrooms are always clean & supplied with necessities. I visit the park at least 4 to 5 times a week. It could definitely use a pavilion or two to accommodate birthday parties & such. It would also provide shade which it is lacking so desperately. The parking area is a bit inconvenient for the elderly & disabled, because of the distance between it & the playground. I still enjoy the park regularly because it is so well maintained & it is located in a safe environment & the lighting is sufficient in the parking lot after dusk."
"It is a very nice park. But you have a very long walk from the parking lot to the picnic tables and play grown. No shade trees at all. They have benches, but they are in full sun. They have handicap parking and bathrooms. All sidewalks, so you can't get around good. The tables are under a shelter. They have 2 shelters. But if you have trouble walking or don't need to be in the sun, this is not the place for you."
