"Buyer beware! We used them to clean our ice machine, but instead the technician came out, did not know what he was doing, and ended up grinding the motor and other parts, so now we have a high pitch sound 24/7. When I confronted the technician, all he would do is get defensive. I called to the office to find a resolution, and after Rhonda pushed me off for 3 days, they said they are not responsible for that and their lead technician (Leanord) decided to get on the phone and cuss me out. I am a big supporter of local business, but unfortunately, this is one business that I would not recommend to anyone. They are extremely unprofessional, unethical, and unreliable."
"Chris did a great job in fixing the microwave. He was able to isolate the issue and address it. It stopped working in 15 days. Ever since we contacted but didnt hear back from Grayson Appliance"
"On Monday 10/23 we placed claims with our home warranty company. Grayson Collin Appliance was selected as our provider and scheduled an appointment for 10/26 7am-11am. Today 10/26 ... First of all, the office staff was busy, when they called me at 8:15-8:30am to locate the model #. They seemed to be put out that I was having issues locating the info. Which ended up on the back of the machine and not the lid as they had instructed me. Then, they did not realize I had a second claim, that was scheduled for the same time. (Despite the fact we could see it on our end through the warranty system. ) The staff then informed me that they did not have the part needed for the washer repair, without even coming to the house to inspect the washer. Again I asked about my second claim on the dryer, after 3 calls with office staff I was told they would send my info to the tech who would then contact me. The tech did call to inform me that the onsite fee was $60 per claim. When my warranty claim stated specifically $45 each claim. The tech proceeded to inform me that I would need to contact our warranty company to get this fixed. I agreed and was going to do that in the mean time prior to his arrival. He informed me he would collect $60 for each claim until it was corrected on his end. Despite the fact I had a claim in-front of me stating $45. Next, I was informed his arrival window would now be 11-1pm, not the 7-11am time frame that I was already waiting at the house. I reiterated that the claim system stated 7-11am. That was the time I could be home and had rearranged my schedule earlier in the week to be here during the 4 hour time frame. Now they where adding 2 hours to make it a total of 6 hours. I did not agree to the new time frame of 11-1pm, as I had a conflict. The tech abruptly informed me they would be reassigning our claim and not be coming at all. They did not give me an option to reschedule to a later date. Frustration between the tech and myself was apparent. Within a 30 minute time frame communicating via phone, I would not recommend this group to anyone. I do understand schedules change however the provider could have given us the the option to reschedule. I was unable to use this company per there decision. If this company does not want to work for warranty companies than don't signup to be one of there vendors. Or decline the claim in the first place. Now I am waiting on another company and it could be 3 more days before anyone can come out to look at my appliances. We are understandable upset, when all we want is to get this fixed up and running correctly. Yes, its our choice to have a home warranty. In the long run it has always been a good choice for us when something breaks."
"Repairman removed the icemaker, looked it over, cleaned out the water line to it, put it back in, told us that should fix it and left. We called back when it didn’t work any better, and were told he would get the message. Nothing happened. We called the home warranty company. They called him and his secretary called us and set another appointment. He didn’t show up. The secretary made false excuses to the warranty company about calling us back; they did not. We would not recommend this company to anyone."
"All I can say is run the other way. I had called for months to get my washer fixed under warranty and each time it was the same response, " we will give you a call back." And for 2 mounths if not more we calling them. They never called us back. Not a good experience! I wouldn't ever recommend this company! I had to call lowes warranty to switch repair companies. Also the receptionist was a bit tackle from time to time."
