"Visited 3/26/24 around 2pm. The cashiers were all sweethearts while getting yelled at through the intercom by the manager. The manager even came out to yell at the cashiers in front of the customers. The disrespect toward the employees in front of everyone was insane I can’t imagine how they are treated when no customers are around."
"Employees are always kind at this location. The sad thing is that dollar tree consistently will only have one employee running the store, while a manager sits in the office."
"I was happily surprised that this store had items I've been on the watch for, and haven't been able to find at other stores. This store was decently stocked as well as clean. Being the late hour we ended up checking out at closing, well I had a hiccup while checking out and had to remove several item off my bill. The employees handled it amazingly. They remained very patient, kind and curtious as they reruns my order. Considering 4 of my kids were bouncing around playing with the balloons being kids and it was 10min past closing. I was throughly impressed."
"I can understand a messy store the day after valentine's day. However, there was a long line when I first walked in. I figured it would go down quickly while I was looking for what I needed. Each time I saw the line, though, it had gotten longer. I heard the cashier call for help, so I looked around some more, expecting another cashier to promptly come out and help. I asked another employee for help in finding something. She was kind enough about it, but seemed to forget me - even told me that she would find me once she found the product - but the next time I saw her, she was holding a dustpan and didn't even seem to remember that I had talked to her at all. I brushed it off, as I had searched for the item myself and had not found it. By that time, I realized that the line was not going down. There was still only one cashier. She was checking out people as fast as she could, but people just kept on coming. While in line, the cashier called again for someone to help. The same employee who had "helped" me wandered around the register area, as if she was going to start helping. She even went into the office as if she was going to count a drawer to help. But while she was in there, a man waited outside the office for her. When she came out, they talked to each other. She seemed completely oblivious that there was a very long line. For a third time (since I was in line) the cashier called - by name - for help. The other employee's name was Krista. This time she did stand at a register and everyone in line seemed to hold a hopeful breath. But before she even began to get ready, she was off again, pacing around the store "cleaning." By now, even the customers were asking for a a back up cashier. When it was at last my turn, I told the cashier she was doing a good job. The poor thing looked so exhausted and overwhelmed. I asked if she was working alone (which I knew she wasn't) and she told me that there were two (yes two!) other workers there. Krista and someone named Kim. Mind you, I was there for at least 20 minutes (waiting for the line to go down) then another 20 minutes (while in line), so I knew Kim wasn't on a lunch break or anything. She just felt like not even being seen. To the manager (if you even bother reading reviews on your store) I suggest you at least talk to Krista and Kim (if not fire them, but that's not my call). Krista was definitely not sober. She was incapable of holding still. I worked at a truck stop for 3 years. When I saw people acting like Krista, it was my job to call the police. While Kim just felt like not doing anything at all! To other potential customers, please stay away! This is not a kid friendly store. It is worth the drive to go the $1 Tree on Redwood road. And I only gave one star for the poor cashier who had to put up with an army of angry customers."
"The store was in total disarray. There were boxes all over the aisles, the shelves were bare, and the customer service just wasn't good. We weren't treated poorly by any means, but the employees weren't engaged and acted like they hate their jobs. The cashier wasn't very friendly. He rang is up quickly but there was no welcome or thanks. This store could do a lot better."
