"I love this store!!! Lorne is a fantastic manager and always willing to help when I have a question, checkout, or carry out an item!! Parker is a great employee that has helped time and time again!! These two are valuable assets to this location and store!!"
"Their customer service is second to everyone. I had a horrible experience with this location. Bought a mattress that was mislabeled and didn't fit my bedframe. Called ahead to return it and store employee said that he could take it back, no problem. Upon arrival at the store they refused to refund my money, kept talking about how they were going to lose their job if they refunded, etc. Only offered store credit, and now I have to wait until they have the exact right bed at a low-stock store. The employee later admitted that they knew that the product was mislabeled when on the floor and took no action to correct it before an unwitting customer purchased it. This store is a joke, there are plenty of savings to be found elsewhere without the incompetent employees and mismanagement. Not worth your business."
"I have been shopping at the Layton NPS for years but it has become so stuffed with stuff and nothing good is ever on sale. When the there is good sales all the good brands are excluded. The prices at NPS are the same or higher than in retail stores that have better return policies, at NPS they only refund you store credit. As for the bargain area they sometimes have some cool stuff. I went in a couple weeks ago and the young lady working there kept putting out box after box of new things. I got my daughter some dolls clothes it was so much fun. However when I went in on Friday another lady was working there and she didn't put out any of the boxes like the other lady did, she was talking to another employee for a long time. After a couple hours she told all of us waiting that she wasn't going to put anymore out til after she closed, so I left. It's so disappointing that there was so much new stuff but she wouldn't put any if it out. She even yelled at me for sneaking a look in one of the boxes, I didn't even touch anything, I just leaned over to look in the open box on top."
"Used to love this store, but things are going downhill. Seems like they don’t get nearly as much stuff, prices keep going up, and the cherry on top was a new policy instituted just today (Dec 26th) in which they no longer honor military / first responder discounts AND tax exempt status (you can pick one or the other). This will only hurt a small demographic of customers, but it’s the type of customers that spend thousands in their store. So, hurt your customers to ensure the government gets more money. Just why?"
"I used to love NPS but lately their prices have become absurd. 2-3 times the price of local retailers even on expired food! I'm there all the time but it's become pointless to go when I can just go to Walmart and spend less. I guess corporate greed has hit NPS as well!"
