"Gave then an Ar-15 one time to install the barrel and pin an A2 front sight to said barrel for a retro m16 build. Took then four months to tell me they couldn't do it because the spot where the gas block sits is too short. Tried them one more time to replace a barrel in an old service rifle. After another four months, they actually finished it - but marred the underside of the barrel considerably (under the chamber, mind you.) because they "didn't have the proper tools" for that specific rifle. What a joke."

"Brought in a new, never fired CZ 12 gauge to sell. Retail just over a grand. They offered me $250.00, now I understand business overhead, profit margins and depreciation. That being said, the offer was insulting and extremely low balled. I'll never step in that shop again. Wish you well. Dude you have me confused with someone else I did not receive this shotgun from a widow or a friend. "I have had the opportunity to have a couple of experiences with this establishment and have not been disappointed. My first experience was with a weapon that needed some work,Chris shared with me what to expect and I left. The weapon was unable to be fixed so Chris sent it to the manufacturer who sent me a brands new one. I recently went to a big box store to purchase a weapon that was on sale....I made an appointment to pick the weapon up from said big box store and was so disappointed that I left w/o finishing my purchase. I recalled my 1st experience with Chris and decided to call him to see if I could import the weapon to him so I could buy it from a local. He not only acquired the weapon for me but he beat the "sale price" of the big box store as well. Thanks to Chris and staff. I will purchase all of my firearms and ammo from Dixie Gun Worx. "Worked with Chris and he built me an expensive gun because of my wish list. When the gun was completed I didn’t get an itemized breakdown of parts, only “you owe me $$$ invoice. I requested and was promised an itemized list of what parts he used to build my gun. Called two days later, list was not done. Called back a week later, no list. Called back 2 weeks later no list. Gave up. I guess I should not have paid him, until he gave me that list of parts. I was very disappointed and feeling I over paid for a custom built gun. Reply: I did not pick out all the parts of the gun. My invoice ONLY had a price, NO itemized parts. Before I signed and paid the balance, I requested and was promised an itemized list. I followed up a few time and finally gave up. And you are right, I should have posted my review more timely. I apologize for that."
