"We went ice skating for public skate. It was so full you could hardly even skate around. The ice was like mush and several groups of people making tictok videos made it impossible to go around the rink, as they stood there in groups. I brought it up to someone that worked there and she said"well they can do what they want" and its like "cool, I want my money back then because I can't do what I want...which is to ice skate?" I feel like it was overcapacity. Bummer. Honestly, just go to the one in Murray."
"At the cottonwood heights recreation Center, we spent a couple of hours on the ice skating rink. The price per person for adults is $6, and $5 for anyone under 17; skates included. It was busy here, but there was enough room to get around and not run into people. Overall, we had a magical experience here and would definitely do it again."
"Great cheap place to ice skate. Renting ice skates or hockeys were $5 per person. No reservations required. Check out their website for updated hours. We went on a Sunday. They even had sliders for younger kids to hold onto. There is a safety personnel that skates around the rink to make sure everyone’s safe."
"Fun...but they closed too early (4pm) for a Saturday. Lots of people but it wasn’t too bad and everybody was pretty chill, kids were behaved and overall, had a good experience. Much needed with how hot it’s been here, in SLC."
