"Nice clean beach with plenty of grills for cooking. The water was a bit muddy/cloudy but to be expected with recent rains. The water level was pretty high, allowing for some much cooler water. Would definitely return. Downfall could not locate any restrooms or showers for rinsing off afterward. I had a great 1.5 hour drive to and back with the Fam. It's definitely worth a city getaway."

"A wonderful beach area shaded by trees. Parking fee is $10 {$8 for Oklahoma residents). Picnic tables and Tiki-style gazebos with grills are available for rent from the State Park web site. The area was clean and the shade was excellent. Not crowded during the weekdays."

"Foss Lake is a great little getaway for the family! The “beach” is hot and sandy (bring water shoes or wear shoes to the water to not burn your feet), the water was great and the swimming area was perfect! The waves (yes real waves) we crazy the day we went! Family friendly, life jackets to use if you need one (get there early) and you do have to pay to park. No beer or alcohol allowed and yes a park ranger will come around and ticket you so don’t try to sneak it in. There are cute little towns surrounding the area also. If you are in OKC or surrounding area take the drive it’s worth it."
