"I had been with 405 insurance since 2020 on home,auto, motorcycle and marine insurance policies. My rates increased by nearly 50% each renewal. After looking at new quotes from different places I decided to go with new agent and company. On the 21st of November I spoke with Jason and informed him I would not be renewing my policies on Dec 1st. Somehow my auto insurance was canceled effective November 18th which is 3 days prior and I didn't find out until I received a refund check. Jason assured me he had taken care of it and advised me to shred the check. I just received a pay immediately bill today in the amount of the refund check or it will be turned into collections. All my policies have been paid in full for 6months or year at a time. We unknowingly drove without insurance due to his incompetence. Now I have to pay the bill again rather than trust Jason to correct his mistakes. This has been unpleasant and very unprofessional but I'm glad to be with new agent and company. I saved over 1400 per year on auto coverage on my 3 vehicles and 1350 on home insurance with same coverages with new company. Motorcycle is the same. Shop around and be careful if you leave 405 insurance advisors they might put you in an uninsured bind as well."
