"Good food with free desert....Who does that? Super genuine friendly staff. Store is packed with antiques so a lot to look at while you're enjoying your food."
"Food was amazing. Great down home taste. Each table was tucked into a corner surrounded by antiques and created a great private eating area which is totally unique. Lunch specials included drink AND dessert. Highly recommend ❤️"
"We were bumped here for lunch by high recommendations from a local business person. Perfect sandwiches, homemade stew, and sweet tea! You must be here if you visit Bowie!"
"Such a fun little place to eat in my home town. The food is always excellent. Friday is chicken fried steak day so if you're going that day you might call ahead. All of the tips go to fund God's Table which is a great blessing to folks in our community providing home cooked meals every night for those in need and even delivering to some as well. There is a feast for the eyes every time you go inside this historic building. So many cool antiques and Lanny, the owner, is always acquiring new pieces which are almost always for sale. Go on in and spend some time. You will most definitely feel transported to another time when you step inside. Please: if it's second Monday weekend and you're not eating, stay out of the way of the servers! It gets crazy congested in there on that weekend and they want to get food to those who ordered it before it gets cold, so kindly don't block the way."
"My family and I stopped in to Nostalgia Antiques during a road trip, and we are glad we did! We found the food to be a bit bland overall, but the stew was excellent. I normally won't give five stars to a restaurant that doesn't serve absolutely excellent food--but the fun, kitchy atmosphere and the absolutely wonderful wait staff more than made up for a slightly bland chicken salad sandwich. I know the next time we're heading that direction we'll be sure to stop in again."
