Reviews of Eversage
"I currently live here and only being here under a year I have a lot to say. We really enjoy that the rent is cheap because a lot of places are fairly expensive. The main reason writing this review is the amount of just horrible stuff that adds up by the week. On move in day looking around our apartment we notice the amount of dog hair in the washer/dryer. We had to immediately deep clean the washer before use as it was very nasty and had built up. We happen to have pets which the hair wasn't a big issue, but if someone happen to have a pet allergy it would show how under cleaned this place was before move in. This cleaning should of been done before we got to move in or even past renters clean up after themselves. Within the first few months of living here we had to have maintenance on our oven that broke and an unusable outlet. The oven got fixed very quickly but the outlet on the other hand took over a week to be fixed. (This is our main outlet which we use for toaster, air fryer etc...) A few months pass and we decided to tear apart our tub drain to dig out all the gunk, hair, bandaids and plastic left behind (our tub drained really slow and showers got to standing water). The amount of trash shoved down that drain... I believe this should of been cleaned before we moved in too. Currently we've put a request in to fix our garbage disposal that now has been broke for a few weeks. And honestly I don't think any maintenance is coming. Another issue is the amount of pet waste outside. We have gotten multiple emails about reminders to clean up after our animals, yet no change is ever seen neither is enforcement/consequences. In the mornings there is urine marks down the stairs by the railings, waste all over the grass and the pet park unusable due to waste covering the area. It seems no one ever picks up the messes or cares where the dogs go. If I had children I wouldn't be comfortable with them running in the grass. Less an Eversage problem more of the neighbors, but several neighbors love to blast music early morning to late night. This music feels constant and very loud to where we can feel the bathroom floor move. We purposely aimed for a top floor apartment to limit the noise yet get it every week. Again, less of an Eversage problem as they do send reminder emails to please be considerate of quiet hours. Just very annoying that we have to deal with this. There is NEVER parking. Some own several cars that dont move making us park forever away. Some park taking two spots and theres so many out of state plates. There's signs saying towing enforced but thats a lie. Finally the final thing has been getting worse to the day. The dumpster is something to be embarrassed about. The garbage people throw all over, things out of bag, trash overflowing. I know someone who works at the landfill and they are told to leave everything not in the bin. Even the landfill has seen the problem this apartment complex has with trash and laziness. I've watched neighbors drop garbage outside of the bin because the lid is closed. I have also seen mattresses, Tv's, chairs and a table been thrown in the bin. These big items take up so much room for others to use. This is something to be embarrassed about and so unsanitary for everyone living here. We are continuing our lease as it is cheaper than most places around and we need somewhere to live. But the experience gets worse by the day and all the BS adds up to where it is very unpleasant to leave our complex. I appreciate the cost but not the environment. At first we were happy just annoyed with all the little things breaking. But being here almost a year every week something seems to get dirtier, something breaks or something outside disturbes us. Late nights neighbors love to race their cars around the Benjamin roads which wake us up. They love to make their cars louder and more unpleasant at night. Not Eversages fault just neighbors being very inconsiderate. Moving here just pick your battles. Save money yet hate everything around you, or get a better experience with paying a little more."
"Eversage has been a great place to live i haven’t even been here a month and it was so fast and easy to get into with the help of cami she was so kind and helped with everything that we had questions about. I would recommend living here for anyone and everyone."
"Worst apartments, the rent is very expensive, they charge you for everything, bad maintenance, and other things that I didn’t like is that people don’t pick up after their pets. I don’t recommend living in those apartments only lived there for 6 months and they don’t give you the deposit back."
"We have lived here almost 3 years. Our time here has been pleasant and enjoyable. I think the rooms are really good sized for an apartment. The office staff has always been friendly, helpful, and responsive. The maintenance staff is always friendly and I was told they just hired someone else to help keep up with the workload. All in all I would recommend Eversage."
"tldr: it's a standard pet-friendly apartment with some amenities. As a resident of this apartment complex for the past 16 months, I want to share my experience with others who may be considering living here. Also a survey told me to. I have noticed that there are some negative reviews on Facebook and Google, but I believe that they are exaggerated. While I do have some critiques of my own, I want to begin by highlighting some of the pros of living here. One of the biggest pros is that the complex is pet-friendly. There are pet waste stations, dog parks, and pet-related activities. I have cats so meh. Additionally, the complex is newer construction and has updated appliances, which gives it a modern feel but also means it hasn't had time to wear down too much. The on-site office staff is also a plus, as they are easily accessible and helpful. I've only had good experiences with the ladies in the office. Another great feature of this complex is the amenities available, such as a pool, hot tub, BBQ, and gym. However, there are also some cons to living here. The maintenance team is swamped and it's falling behind, which can be frustrating at times. They don't want you solving your own maintenance problems (which for big stuff is understandable right?) and are pretty firm about it but the backlog is a few weeks minimum and months in some cases (usually HVAC). Some issues are dirty air filters, leftover holes in walls from previous tenants, hard water clogged aerators, some mold in the window tracks, drafty/whistling thresholds (the weather stripping gets worn down from move outs and isn't replaced) and some incidental paint problems from quick patches. Most of it is cosmetic but there are legitimate issues with water damage, air leaks, and bad filters. Additionally, prices are a bit high for the service, honestly speaking. Pet rent + Utilities + Rent is about $1900/mo. We got hit with the rent hike so it's a bit different rn. They've since reduced it again and added a $1K off 1mo incentive so maybe your math is different. For this next part, REVIEW YOUR RENTAL CONTRACT. Don't do anything to violate it. I chose my battles so I would not violate the terms. Your terms will say you need to report stuff like water damage, fire damage, and equipment malfunctions that can cause damage immediately. Don't be dumb. Report the big stuff. I did a few things such as replacing sink aerators/shower heads because of hard water clogging them (it's very hard water). I also patched the pin/nail holes left over, repaired the paint delaminating by the shower, resealed and seated the shower head and tub faucet (there is no PEX bracket to hold the pipe so the nitrile grommet will slide out), patched the existing window sill cracking (window settled and cracked the drywall), swapped the kitchen faucet (original one is a shallow faucet you can't get a dish under) and swapped the thermostat for an Ecobee (insulation seems sparse so a simple thermostat will fight the temperature hard). Additionally when the filters get dirty they'll freeze over. A basic thermostat will keep trying to work for hours and x2 your bill. This is why we swapped ours. I also replaced missing doorstops and closet magnetic latches (rubber nubs go missing from pets and I assume the latched broke off). All swapped items will be returned for the originals of course but just know that the as-is setup could use a few quality of life changes. It's worth noting that the management has changed hands a few times and some apartments have been left in poor condition which I'm sure nukes the maintenance teams schedule. Overall, I hope this provides more information for people deciding if they want to live here. While there are some cons, the pros outweigh them (I think). It's great place to live but there are some things to look out for. Here are some kitty photos to enjoy"
