Wingate by Wyndham Cedar City

"**I spoke to the front desk who wanted me to email them photos and I would get a reply from the manager. No reply was given so this is being posted.** The images below were the condition of both duvet covers in our room we found during our stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Cedar City Hotel. We immediately fell asleep on arrival and found these issue after waking up. In the images it appears to have not been cleaned for a while. All other issues I found were negligible besides these. The red/brown dot was a flaky blood-like substance. The orange appeared to be flaky food/oils. The brown smear looks similar to flaky feces but could be food matter. The final photo appears to be makeup of some kind. There were other marks but these were the most concerning. That being said. The front desk was polite when I spoke to them about the issue and they did have a good breakfast."

"Not impressed. Rooms are tiny and overpriced. The pool was too small and crowded to enjoy. The pictures online make it look bigger. The rooms have only one chair and no table. The coffee maker had to go behind the TV because there is not another spot for it. Breakfast ended at 9am which was unfortunate. The only reason it didn't get 2 stars was because of the staff. The staff was kind and friendly."

"This is a nice hotel. Staff was very friendly. Check in was easy. Room was clean, shower was nice, thermostat in room was perfect. No noisy heater. Beds were comfortable. Would stay there again."

"Rooms are good. The pool was fun. But for a Non Smoking place. It was disgusting. Can't hide that smell no matter what you try. 25 feet from the building was only a suggestion. It's a disgusting smell no matter what. And don't turn on the bathroom, fan."

"Rosalie with housekeeping does an excellent job! I was very impressed with how clean my room was. There was a nice large tub. After traveling over 10 hrs in a car, it felt great to relax with a hot bath. The bed was comfy, and there was not a lot of noise from other guests. You are right off the freeway, so it's easy to find. Front desk staff was polite, and the grounds were kept clean. I would highly recommend this location! I am very satisfied with what you get for the money spent!"
