"I am shocked at how far this place has fallen. First of all they try to force the self checkout on you; if you decline they're visibly upset. Then I asked twice if I could get quarters to do laundry and the reply was yes by 2 different people. However, after my $17.00 shower I was told "no" and then i was told the most i could get was $5.00 (to do laundry with YOUR machines). The mythical coin shortage (now proven that it never really existed) is over. The reality is that change requests cost money (banks charge typically a %) so your management has decided it can reduce some of its expenditure by not converting as much through the change request. By default the people that lose here are the truck drivers. Remember us the people that built your corporate empire? My suggestion is to remove the laundry facility IF you're not gonna be forthcoming with the quarters required to do at least 1 load of laundry. So as a result of the absolutely ridiculous behavior, demonstrated by your staff, I departed the truck stop called the 800 number on the back of the rewards card, cancelled my account. I'll fuel at the TA in the morning. Moving forward the ONLY reason I will stop at a pilot/ j will be to eat at a Denny's. Furthermore all of the trucks in my fleet will be instructed to do the same."
"No water or sewer dump available, they say, due to winter time. Every RV campsite here and in SLC has water and sewer dump available. The buckets of windshield cleaner available at each fuel pump looks to be quazi full/fresh. How do they do that during winter time? Also, the buckets aren't frozen, but it's winter and 54F today so....?? Minimum wage isn't because your job isn't important, it's because you don't do your job. Thank you FJ management here in Tooele, great job taking care of truck drivers and RVers."
"I have been coming to the lakepoint flying j for many years now. Today will be the last time I go there. One of the afternoon managers named hippo Is very arrogant and Rude. I do not want to use the self check out Because I want to get food and cigarettes. He very rudely tries to force me to use it. I have put up with this long enough I will not be going back. Everyone else that works there is great and very friendly. I don't know why this guy has to be so rude. Goodbye forever lake point flying j you have lost my business"
"very good place for overnight parking. The shower is always important for me, it was very clean and the water was hot) nice staff"
"I stopped here because I was traveling from California to Salt Lake city, Utah. It was conveniently located off the freeway and regular unleaded gas was $3.19. I also stopped here because I was able to use my Fuelman card. The employees were very patient, and professional. And I appreciate it that after being awake for almost 12 hours driving. The restroom was clean and everything necessary was stopped. Denny's is connected to the gas station, so that was even more convenient for other fellow travelers. There is also a section for truckers to pull up and get their gas."
